That was a great game played by two very well coached teams.

Many VT fans are fine, but there are some out there that think a little too highly of their program and that they should be playing in the NC game every year. They're like Pitt basketball. Win 10 games a year, play in the Orange Bowl or Peach Bowl, but always a couple of losses away from getting to the big one.

Dude Boise ain't chumps. I don't buy the argument that any team in a weak conference can just turn it on and whoop top-25 teams with ease. Boise keeps making it happen and you can't say these are just fluke wins.

Guarantee Boise would be top 3 in the ACC, no doubt.

At some point as Boise continues to beat all these "far superior teams" some one might have to give them credit for being a good team. It's not like they are the Hawaii style fluke. They are consistently good against the best teams on their schedule.

thing is, this game was close, REALLY close, could have EASILY gone either way... now, if they were in a real conference they would have a similar game next week, then the next, then maybe a break, then another one just like this one, etc. Chances of running through that are a lot less than playing San Jose State, Toledo, Utah State. Sure they can get up for one big game a year, but to do it week after week with no margin for error...
