Javi throws the ball in the backcourt to Wood. Wood gets double teamed. Wood throws the ball to a wide open Howell under the basket. Howell lays it up (never learned from the Clemson game when blocked with a "game-winning" layup - anyways..). We are now up by 1.

BUT UH OH, the clock never started when we inbounded the ball. Refs take a look and determine that USF has 8 seconds with NCSU up 1point. USF brings the ball down and throws up all over themselves, and we get a lose ball for the win with time expiring.

^^^^ NC State inbounds with 11.2 seconds left. They score to make it a one point lead, except the timer doesn't start until about a second before they put it in the basket. The refs argue about it for awhile and then give USF 8.0 seconds left. USF fails to score in that time. End regulation.
