It's all good, once you told me Shonn Greene I disregarded the advice anyhow and went with Tolbert. I knew he was going to get touches. I hate Shonn Greene and I'm sure tonight will prove my point on why he's not a good FF start.9/11/2011 7:45:26 PM |

So I just got offered Mike Vick for Greg Jennings and Michael Turner. My other RBs are MJD, Fred Jackson and Jerome Harrison. My current QB is Josh Freeman. I'm thinking a definite no to this trade because it would leave me pretty thin at RB. Any thoughts? 9/11/2011 8:53:53 PM |

you are giving up way too much. Turner for Vick would be fair, but if he wants Jennings as well, he should throw in someone else. 9/11/2011 8:59:30 PM |

My brother, being the fool he is, took Cam Newton with his first round pick. He took the Ravens D with the second. He also picked up a kicker in round 4.
He has scored the most points out of all the teams this week (computer drafted Kenny Britt for him).
I know his success will not continue past week 1, but man is it frustrating when you can screw around in a draft and still come out on top. 9/11/2011 9:38:29 PM |

Any thoughts on who I should go after for a K? I have Kaeding in 2 leagues.

and No to Kasay, he is just filling a role.
Get Rackers or Crosby or some team that stalls alot and has to kick.

I made a change to my lineup Friday night to start Tolbert over Arian since it was looking less and less likley Foster would play
So I got a waiver claim in on Cam. Hope I can land him and mix him with Stafford based on matchups. I've got a stout team otherwise (Roddy, R.Wayne, Bowe, Harvin, Arian, Turner, Tolbert, Winslow, GB Def). QB is my main weakness thanks to Peyton's injury. 9/12/2011 8:31:01 AM |

whos the idiot who told me to start the Browns defense over the Bears this week? Bears scored 24 pts, Browns scored 4pts. (fyi, I dont know if anyone actually told me to start the Browns over the Bears, I just feel better blaming someone else )
also, I am still pissed the Mendenhall, Blount and Pitts DEF netted me -0.3 points this week. 9/12/2011 8:35:06 AM |

I'm glad I opted to start Moreno over mendenhall... not that it matters in that league as the guy I'm playing went nuts, but it still feels good to make the right decision. I think I only made one bad start/sit call in all four of my leagues so far, and that was sitting Britt in one league (I started him in another though- it was gonna be a win/lose situation regardless)
I reaaaally would like to start getting the injury reports now so I can figure out what moves I need to make. Also, is Fitzpatrick the real deal, or was yesterday a fluke? I remember him being able to air it out, but I mean- look at his team.... 9/12/2011 9:14:48 AM |

Thoughts on
Matt Ryan vs Philly
or
Cam Newton vs Green Bay 9/12/2011 9:44:45 AM |
Biofreak70 All American 33197 Posts user info edit post |
I'd say Cam is going against a tougher defense, but Ryan didn't perform too well this week (actually played pretty shitty) and is going against a real tough Philly defense. I think both matchups are crummy, but GB will run up the score and force the panthers to start throwing it for their lives. Take that how you will, because i can't in good conscience tell you to start Cam Newton going against the Packers 9/12/2011 10:13:58 AM |

Ryan didn't throw any touchdowns, but he still passed for over 300 yards against a good defense, I wouldn't worry about Ryan, he's still gonna be a top-10 QB this year in fantasy 9/12/2011 10:30:46 AM |
Biofreak70 All American 33197 Posts user info edit post |
he did have a couple of turnovers, and he is going against an even better defense this week
I wouldn't suggest dropping either of your qb's, but if you can afford a 3rd qb, even if it is just for this week, I like Mccoy and Sanchez this coming week
I'd like to say fitzpatrick too, but Oakland is a better pass defense and less so a run defense- I think next week will be more of a Jackson/Spiller show

2 points in ESPN standard scoring. I cannot stand "Fantasy Football" experts that claim to know what the hell they're talking about and put players like this in their "Top 20" RB's for the week. They should have learned from last year... but NOOOO.... same thing for Ryan Matthews... Tolbert is the goal-line carry and he's always going to get the points.
So ignoring what other people say, what say you Tdub?
I still need an RB3 (withholding judgement until Reggie Bush plays tonight), who would be your waiver wire pickup????
-Reggie Bush -Mike Tolbert (MRI today apparently) -Cadillac Williams (anyone know how long SJ is out?) -Darren Sproles -LaDainian Tomlinson
And for FLEX (WR4)? Right now I have Ochocinco (again will with-hold judgement until after his game)
-Plaxico Burress -Jordy Nelson (or maybe even Cobb?) -Early Doucet9/12/2011 11:53:45 AM |

Quote : | "When asked about Reggie Bush Tuesday, coach Tony Sparano said, "I would think he's going to have the most touches and the most carries."" |
We'll see... he is clearly going to get 15+ touches or so, but whether or not he'll do well against the NE defense... is another thing entirely. Last year was a disaster against NE9/12/2011 12:05:27 PM |

^^^I like Bush and Plaxio (possibly sproles if you get return yards)
^I think Reggie will do better with the dolphins than he did in NO, especially fantasy wise if you are in a PPR... And comparing them from this year to last isn't fair- different backs, and I feel like it will be a different offense all together. Granted, I pick the Pat's to win, but it should be a good game

Ugh... - Steven Jackson is out, as is Amendola; Bradford is banged up but said to play this week - Nicks is still being evaluated but saying it is a bone bruise at worst - Dalton is not looking good with his wrist (not that I think anyone should be playing him anyway) - Derrick Ward is day-to-day - Tolbert is fine; Kaeding is out for the year (ACL)
And there were countless defensive injuries that are big to their respective teams.... and there are still two more games left- hard hitting week 1! 9/12/2011 5:17:07 PM |

I have Tolbert and Matthews (of course I played Matthews yesterday).
I'd almost rather one of them get hurt and the other become a weekly top 10 guy than use 2 roster spots on guys that cannibalize each other's numbers.
And I know its Mathews, but I refuse to spell it that way, because it looks funny. 9/12/2011 5:25:30 PM |

Too bad Belichick has too big of an ego to just run the ball and run the clock down. I have Benjarvus Green-Ellis and am playing against Brady. My opponent has come back, throwing the TD from 1st and goal from the one foot line did not help.
