You have to be gentle with all the controls in this game. If you just hold down the accelerator button, you're gonna end up hitting a bunch of things that you don't want to.

Also, that moment when you are pulling out of Los Santos Customs after a fresh paint job and just putting on new stuff into your car.....and a jalopy T-Bones you..........

Like all GTA games you get good as fuck at driving about half the way in. You should be fine to hold down the accelerator 100% of the time in cars (except if you're trying to power slide) and 100% of the time in planes except for the passenger planes

I had a mission that required me to drop something off inside the airport. After it was over I went back in and stole a 747. Other than that I haven't tried

I haven't even been to the airport. I was in that area for about 2 minutes just driving around. Otherwise, I haven't even been around there. Its amazing the hours that I have put in and there are entire areas I haven't even been in.

nice heli tips

some things i just learned:
1. you can press down to skip through lines during a cell phone call, useful for calling cabs.
2. during a mission: if you visit ammunation, buy upgrades, kill yourself/die, press retry (not quit), you'll get your money back and the upgrades will be free on your next visit (ammo will reset, but you'll get your money back if you buy some anyway)
3. theres a random encounter western part of map along the coast: banham canyon/great ocean hwy (invest in tinkle stock w/ all 3 characters before triggering the encounter, tops out at 33%)

poodles are agents of satan. and fog is just smoke on the ground, so stay as high as possible.

Right after you do the jury assassination mission, after you sell your debonair stock, invest in Redwood while it's super low. In a week or so it goes back up.

I bought at about $40 and sold at $160. Made me way more money than investing in Debonair before the mission.

Don't know. Current price is $165.86, which is around where it was when I sold it.

Low is $40.88. I think I bought around $43 and it dropped a little bit, stayed around $41 for a while, then shot back up after a couple missions.

there is a helicopter with guns/ rockets on top of the " national office of security enforcement" building in the southeast part of the map.

I've been playing this game for like 45 minutes and already found that shit bros. killed a bird and a mountain lion with it. then died in huge fireball when I crashed into a big rig.

Yeah, if you go to that stadium where the blimp is and keep going north on that highway a small ways, there will be a building off to the right that has the armed chopper on top of it. There are guards and a gate but they don't shoot at you or give you stars unless you hit one of them with your car on the way in.

ymmv, but my assassination missions were:
deb 81.x%
red 300%
frt 51.25%
vap 148.x% (stalled at 100%, but got it to 148 somehow after that, but i dont know exactly what i did to bump it up, but i sold $couplehundredthousand all 3 characters, slept a few days, then it showed 148 after a quick save)
gcd 82.x%

with the tinkle stock, should get you +$1.5B post-game

^^ I've noticed that sometimes you don't see your missions when they're really far away unless you look at the map. Also try going to sleep. Some missions are time based and don't show up during the wrong period of time unless you look at the map

I think I noticed that some storyline missions (only 1 or 2) don't appear unless you've completed some of the side missions. It may be a bug, b/c it seems to me that you shouldn't have to do the side content to advance the story, but hey, I'm not a game developer.

Also, make sure you've done everything for all the characters. If Michael doesn't have any missions, and Trevor has 3, go do Trevor's. You can't advance the story unless you character hop and complete all the available missions.

I got all golds in flight school. You don't get anything for it, not even an achievement. Helicopters are hard as shit to control. You kind of have to get a feel for them. I think it started helping when I thought of it more from a physics point of view with momentum and force, etc. it's a free particle in the air and it's not stable like in past games. Nailing the bridge section on the speed test is going to get you that medal. I made it through there going full speed and not slowing down and finished my gold medal with like 10 seconds to spare.

When I look at the "100% Completion" page in the Options, it's telling me I'm about 10-12 missions out from completing all of them. This doesn't count the Strangers and Freaks column, which is separate.

But, there are still a shitload of areas/places on the map I haven't been through. Nothing has sent me to the Very Large Array looking place in the desert, or to the prison, or many of the industrial areas outside Los Santos. I'm wondering if they're being saved for future DLC.

I just finished the mission which sends Trevor back to Los Santos. Does that mean i'm done in Blaine County or do the characters return there for another part of the storyline? I ask because I feel like I barely touched anything in that area before returning back to the city.

I still need to go find the bail runners for Maude, climb Mt. Chilead, and win another off-road race.

Just got back from playing the game...


Cops are a bitch to run from in this one but the heist was sweet. My gun man was the only one I cheaped out on and he crashed his bike but Franklin picked up his loot so I really made out, one less guy to pay and all the benefits.
