At least as of this time last year season ticket sales had increased. Your seat may be getting better because some of the long time people have dropped but it sounds like State (at least last year) was easily replacing those numbers with new ones.12/19/2011 7:59:23 AM |

yeh, defense is struggling, but the syracuse game probably did the best job of showing where we really lack: bench players. We've got a pretty thin team, offensively and defensively. but I don't know how to take our 3-pt defense... it's not like we haven't contested those shots... it's just every fucking team has been on fire against us. i'm not sure how much better you can defend already contested 3s... the only thing I see needing improvement on that front is sticking to your player, we do give up a few unguarded 3s but I didn't think it was all that many... but maybe i'm wrong.

ITT: Non season ticket holders bitching about people who give money to the school not showing up when their money is seemingly not being put to use.
If anyone in this thread has an issue with the crowd...go to the fucking games and make it better. 12/19/2011 9:07:25 AM |

i know i should ignor sko, but seriously? They're expecting to change a program around overnight because they happened to be around when we got lucky in '83 (haha, kinda kidding) ? (i was around then too)12/19/2011 9:48:28 AM |

Obviously Wood is a phenonemal 3-point shooter. That doesn't mean we don't have other players that are decent shooters. CJ Williams just posted back-to-back career highs. His stat line for the Syracuse game speaks for itself:
9-13 FGs (69%) 3-5 3pt FGs (60%) and a perfect 4-4 from the line for 25 points... against the #1 team in the nation?
Yeah it was against a zone D, but shooters benefit from the zone. Wood was covered like a hawk, and CJ took advantage.12/19/2011 1:46:50 PM |

i'm a season ticket holder and i go to every damn game. so i have a right to complain about those that don't (i wish i made enough money where i could get lower level seats and not care if the tickets were being wasted. but... i don't.)12/19/2011 2:29:28 PM |

^ FWIW I have missed maybe 7 basketball games in the past 6 years. It frustrates me too, but the majority of these people have no right to bitch. 12/19/2011 2:39:46 PM |
