This is why we don't have decent people running for president. Everybody makes gaffes, everybody makes mistakes. You can't make it to your 50's and 60's without leaving something for the media to dig up. Decent people don't want their lives exposed, so we're always only going to get shit for candidates.

I'm not going around telling people Hillary is unfit for president b/c she told a lie about landing under sniper fire in Afghanistan, but this whole West Point thing is pretty much the equivalent.

I'm not voting for the man, but this scrutiny is a little over the top.

^ Carson seems to have a tendency to continuously embellish or lie about things, then either pretend he never said them or walk them back. I gave him a pass on the first few times he did this, but he seems to make a habit of this. If he's going to lie, he might as well learn to do it like everyone else, no need to do it so blatnatly.

The existence of all the conspiracy nuts paranoid about Obama being Kenyan, Muslim, Barry Soetoro, or the Anti-Christ causes the effectiveness of legitimate complaints to go relatively unnoticed. RWM should have spoken out against all those nuts if they wanted people to continue to take them seriously.
