why the hell do I have to bet $3 - $5 everytime I have a big pocket pair?

I'll bet stong on huge hands 90%+ of the time but sometimes I gotta do something different

plus if I had reraised him preflop then I doubt I would have had all his chips in the end

also today, after a 31 hour session, after keeping tabs on rake, time charge, gas, food, tolls and tips, had spent out $518 going out.

(only rake in the two way, $5 ever half hour on the 10/20 lhe and 2/5 nl)


and to put that in perspective, i salvaged a winning day, being up $179.

(10/20 lhe, 10/20 two way lo8 with 7cs8, a lil bit of 2/5 nl)

its just discouraging to have played well and have that kind of outflow. to have to actually be up over $500 to make a profit for the session........

you never really think about it, but it adds up, and it is really quite disturbing.

I prefer limit for two reasons. I find it more exciting, which is simply an opinion, and also it doesn't give me the opportunity to dump my whole stack on one poor read. I recognize that it also doesn't give me the opportunity to double up off of one good read, but I'm more of an average reader, so it doesn't end up hurting me in the end.

I play a lot of no limit STT though, and I'm pretty good with those.
