Btw it isn't the job of tww to find the killer, it is cpds job.. And what is more likely CPD being lazy and not looking for more suspects or brad Cooper doing all these impossible feats leaving no evidence or tampering with the one piece he did leave, on the chance they find the google search...

There's an interesting dateline on right now about the 2008 bathtub drowning case, and prosecution and jury misconduct. Wife is found dead, husband is charged with her murder two days later BEFORE ANY INVESTIGATION!

Then it sounds like the Prosecution failed at their job. Miserably. Probably because they "were directed to win this case at all cost in order to save face". Perhaps saving face isn't illegal, but when the physical evidence doesn't match your theory of the crime and you shoehorn it based on innuendoes and suppositions (to put it mildly), then it's not moral behavior and it's definitely unacceptable behavior for a public official.

Are you acting surprised that people paid more attention to a trial streamed live in its entirety than some other trial that's not? I'm not going to deny that crimes involving blonde women and sex get more attention than others (all around, from those investigating and prosecuting, to those reporting and watching), but you haven't been paying attention if you think no one cares about racial inequalities in the justice system.

I was thinking maybe the "I was framed" thing is a ploy to put the focus on the ineptitude of CPD rather than on BC. If he just says "I wasn't looking for a place to put a body" then the focus is still on him. I don't think anything can really be proven either way so the first option would be more useful to an appeal.

Just got around to watching the Kurtz interview. Honestly I should probably stop watching coverage of the trial because it just raises my blood pressure to see how horribly this case turned out.

I do agree with him that Brad was framed. I would not put it past someone at Cary PD to do a Google Maps search after the fact, once they realized how they had mishandled the case, in order to cover up for that fact.

I have also contacted Kurtz's firm asking for info regarding how to offer financial donations to help offset some of the financial strain I'm sure this has put on him. If I get any info I'll pass it on to everyone on TWW.
