Yesterday was absolutely bananas:

1) NYG(-10.5) - Good bet imo, should have been an easy cover if not for the blocked FG return. VERY lucky safety ftw at a point in the game where the Giants were up 10 with little interest in scoring. I win one on BS but there's instant karma..

2) KC/TEN(U36) - TEN gets up early, as expected, and attempts to run out the clock and play defense. This bet was working out great, 20 total points half way through the 4th. Then KC gives up 80 & 66 yard TD runs and Tyler Thigpen scores a TD. So fucking gay.

3) HOU(-8.5) - I hated betting them to cover this much, but it seemed like a good idea. It was looking like a great idea when they were up 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter. But then the Texans remembered they were the Texans and operation blow this game went into effect. They didn't manage to lose, but they can't stop Dan "The Dream" Orlovsky from covering.

4) WAS(-7.5) - This one was the worst. Any adolescent madden junkie knows that if you're down 11 late in the 4th quarter, kicking a FG on 4th down is the right play. Crennel goes for the cover killer and fails. Portis then fumbles while trying to run out the clock and Crennel finds himself in the exact same situation except with less time! He still can't figure out the merit of kicking a FG on 4th down when you're losing my 11 and kills the cover with a bootleg. AS;DKLFJD;LKSAJD!!!

5) TB(-10.5) - SEA is an abomination and at no point during this game did they look like they belonged on the field with TB. Collinsworth spends the entire broadcast slurping TB's o-line because this game was so uneven. But they were down 17 late and Holmgren desperately wants to lose by 10 and seem respectable. They return a kickoff to the 50 and run draws past an over aggressive pass rush. It's 4th and goal, Holmgren needs 3 scores but Seneca Wallace is incapable of leading a comeback so you may as well go for it. TD, I lose again.


So frustrating. Thank god BUF won, that was my biggest bet of the week and if DEN(+3) comes through tonight I'll finish in the black despite those 4 excrutiating losses.

^^ The line suggests that the two teams are even, which is laffable. Vegas is banking on DEN not traveling well and/or NE bouncing back after a crushing defeat. I disagree.

I really like BUF(-1) @ MIA next week. We just saw what happens when MIA can't run the ball, BUF is tough with Stroud in there and teams are starting to figure out the wildcat. Also, if Flacco can play well against MIA's terrible secondary, Edwards and Evans will explode next week.
