I went to high school with him, and we weren't good friends then. About a year ago, he dated a very good friend of mine for months and months, and we interacted a lot more. We were closer then than we were recently, and I know I should've tried harder to keep it like it used to be. We went out to dinner and I saw him around a lot, etc. I mostly kept to his LJ these last few months, aside from random spottings.

It's just weird when you think back to the more intimate things you did with people. Frank was the designated driver the first time I got drunk, etc. Little things add up quickly when you try to remember it all. I'll miss him, I really will, no matter how many times he commented on how huge my boobs were or how long he once kept one of my copies of Gravity's Rainbow (he just gave it back in December with all the tabs still intact- I can't stop looking at it sitting here on my desk).
