I found out in February that if you have had 3 tetanus boosters within X time period, you're considered to be immune to it for Y amount of time. I think X=1yr, and Y is either 1 or 3 years.

When I stepped on a chain link fence bottom that was upturned and took out a chunk of my foot, that was booster #3 within that time period, if not #4
