^^ when are you going? during the winter - snowboarding somewhere if you could find a good deal - either colorado or maybe vermont. maybe lake louise. if not there thennnnn maybe a cruise. that can easily be done for < 2000. but since you only have a week you'd prob have to limit it to the caribbean, which is still cool. if summer you could do an alaskan cruise. also if summer i'd do a trip out west somewhere.

i guess it depends on the season and your goals. is it a relaxing vacation or a vacation where you wanna do shit or a vacation where you wanna see shit? or a combo of see/do? if you just want to chill a cruise or resort in the caribbean. if you want to do stuff out west, skiing, etc.
