Yeah, that was my initial reaction on gottfried. I had prepared myself for an unknown with a high ceiling and I was pretty disappointed initially to hear this guy who has a pretty mediocre record at Alabama. I am coming around a bit. We could have done worse.

Adam Gold got my quote incorrect on CJL. I talked to CJL outside of Case, and I said that he was indifferent. He did know who he was...he just seemed to not be crazy about it one way or another. He said that him and the team really like Shaka, and also mentioned Barnes and Donovan, though not by name. He also said that Debbie talked to Shaka again last night. He had no clue about Gottfried being hired until a minute prior to me talking to him.

I'm always taken back by how nice he is, though. He was more than willing to talk about it with two random shlubs on the sidewalk.
