hey have you thought about maybe doing something under the breast? A girl friend of mine did it and really likes hers. Since she was your mom you could do it under your left breast if you feel like it would keep her closer to your heart. IDK, maybe thats to cheesy. This isn't my friends tatoo but you get the idea.

you know the pain is coming, you bring someone with you who can talk to you and distract you.

not too bad

(although i got mine on my lower calf, so it wasn't too awful)

I get so mad at people that say tattoos don't hurt at all. Good advice, LunaK. I always tell people every damn one of mine hurt and prepare for it to hurt.

i dunno if all these pics are gonna work but here are the locations i like:

upper inner arm:

i like hers but i think i'd want it a little more under my arm on my ribs and i don't know if i'd do it vertical. i might do horizontal?

i LOVE this location. i rarely wear shirts that are open like that so it would be seen in a bathing suit but i don't care about that

do you guys know of any good tattoo gallery sites where you can search by location? these are just all from quick google searches haha.

^hayden and rumer's tats are awesome!

You chicas are making me reentertain the thought of getting tats. But the only thing I want are koi sleeves (full ones). So pricey.

Is it worth the investment?

ha thanks. i was honestly expecting full on excruciating pain - so with expecting the worse, it wasn't that bad in comparison

I'm just afraid that sleeves will look weird when my arms get old and droopy. Other body parts age better. Arms do not.

Also, I have boy probs and need girl advice. Why do bad boys rock? Is it possible to find lifelong happiness with someone who doesn't get you super excited? Do you need a good balance? Or certain everlasting qualities?

not ALL arm tats look bad when you get old! but yea arms are scary. and i think that you need someone who makes you excited. obviously a balance but...how can you live without excitement? not YOU but like...the general you haha.

kdcad...I have a video of me getting mine done and you can hear the noise, if you want I can send it to you...you can prob find it on youtube too...I had been with friends before and the noise kind of freaked me out too...you should go chat with your artists and you can hear that noise.

also, regarding the pain...I was expecting TERRIBLE pain while getting tattooed but that part wasn't too bad expect when it touched my ribs and hip. The worst part of the pain for me was AFTER it BURRRRRNNNNSSSSSSSS, for me it hurt a lot, way worse than the actual needle part.

Bad boys are exciting and risky. Lifelong happiness with someone, yes i think you can. I think they should entertain you but a working relationship is more important in the day to day scheme. IMO you need certain qualities to make a good balance.... which I have no personal experience with

That side tat rocks! I really want it!

And yeah I've been thinking a/b that. the excitement thing

So, tonight, the guy I've been seeing and I went on a wine walk w/lots of my friends. One of those friends is an old flame. We had lots of physical chem, but weren't at a place to get serious. Tonight, he was being sneaky/flirty and I practically had to push him away bc I had a date. But it was a challenge and it bothers me!

I've been seeing a nice guy. Why am I still gushing over the bad boy?

^^ i don't know. bad boys do that to girls. i don't know why. and why do they have to be all flirty if you finally have a nice boy? it seems like its always bad timing with them. bad timing when you want to be serious cause they aren't ready. bad timing when you move on cause then they're interested again. they just jerk us around!

because hes a pretentious ass and only wants you because your with someone else

/ girl rant.

There is just something exciting about a guy that is unabashed flirt. A girlfriend of mine once said to me that most of time your in a serious relationship the majority of the time is going to be spent on day to day tasks so the most important thing is to find someone you can have fun with while washing the dishes. That just kinda stuck with me

Kisses are VERY important....but you have to weigh out the drama that will come with him! Has he been perusing you, or just started when he saw you with another boy?

also, I don't know how to put the pic in here but I just put a pic up of my tat....RIGHT when I was getting it done so it is all red and ugly...don't have any new ones but you can see the location....on my side near my hip

is important. i mean think about it. what if you get into a long term thing with him. would you wanna stay with someone who is just mediocre. that could lead to a lifetime of mediocre. which is scary!

and i agree with this:
Quote :

"

sounds cheesy but its true if you can find someone that you have fun doing nothing with (aka everyday tasks) then that is a really good thing. my parents were like that. my mom said when my dad visited her in the hospital they'd often just nap or sit and read their respective books. she liked just being close to him - they didn't always feel the need to talktalktalktalktalk. they just liked sharing the same space and the presence of each other. i thought that was cute.

^ ohh thanks! i just checked your gallery - awesome!! ok i'm pretty convinced to do a side tat now. but i def want it over the ribs so that is going to blow.

Also, the challenge is that it's hard not to think of the bad boy's when I'm out with the good guy.

Perhaps I'm a bit of a bad girl ... Should bad boys stick would good girls or can bad boys and good girls be reformed?

On a related note, my neighbors are swingers and I found out the hard way tonight. Not literally.

Relationships are so weird and confusing. Ugh.

Babycam, love the tat!

And yeah, I want a guy that I can feel connected w/doing mundane things ... Where waking up in the morn is just relaxing and fun ... Where there's no small talk.

and bad boy is actually better than good guy in that regard. Bad guy is more comfortable, fun ... Just not the right race and we're both rebounders. Good guy is so formal. Paint-by-numbers dating.

So good and bad are subjective.

^ thank you, I need to take a new one...it is my first bathing suit season with this little baby

Bad boys are just more intriguing...I had a conversation with a friend the other day and we both had very similar stories (sounds like your paint by the numbers boy) that we were chatting with a boy that was in theory so perfect, so nice, willing to do anything for you.....but a 'good guy' and we both didn't end up liking them.....girls are crazy....we want the exciting, but with the exciting often comes hurt

also, why is it that i can type on here but have been staring at my word doc for like 2 hours and have a paper due tom! ahhh.

khcadwal, i love your tattoo idea! super special

i went to the mall to get my mom a mothers day present and i blacked out and ended up with a bunch of shopping bags

here are some dresses i got on major sale (dont mind the tags, i'll take them off later)

this dress has pockets and these are the shoes i'm wearing with most of the dresses

im not sure about the belt on this one. its kind of cheesy. i can easily remove it

this has that stuff underneath it that makes it a little puffy

lighting is bad (go photo booth!) but this one is cream colored. has pockets too

haha had to take this one from another angle bc you can see through the top pic doesn't do it justice. this is my fav one

is there anything that is stupid? i got a lot of it in the juniors section haha oh well. i think they're great for the summer. a little dressier than just an errand dress but i can also take some of them to hawaii for date nights!

LOVE THEM ALL! the last one is my fav too. though i do love the first one and the one with the "puffy stuff"

i say take the belt off that one - i think it might be cuter w/o the belt - maybe with a different belt i'm thinking. just not the one that came with it haha

and this made me actually lol...the blacking out part

im taking it to charlotte with me this weekend and having my friend drop it off at my house for her. its kinda heavy i figured i could spend a little more if i didn't have to worry about shipping costs

awwwwww!! that's cool.

i'm giving a donation in memory of my mom to the leukemia and lymphoma society for mother's day.

and since my boyfriend's mom has been like my replacement mom (seriously she has done so much more than any person needed to do) i think i'll give a donation for her in memory of my mom as a mother's day gift. maybe with a little something else too. i don't want to overdo it cause she's not my mom but i think she'd like a donation in her name in memory of my mom and like...maybe i could bake a cobbler or get her a gerber daisy or something to say "thanks." that isn't weird is it? i feel like if it is small it won't be weird. i mean i don't think she'd think its weird. but i don't want to be creepy.

Khcadwal, your mom's day gift to your bf's mom is sweet.

Wolfey, that blue/teal/green flowery dress is such a beautiful cut for you! It looks amazing on you! Ditch the belt. Super cute.

And by the definition of bad boy, neither guy is bad. One is more difficult than the other, but they're both somewhat difficult. In fact, the one who is more difficult (demanding, annoying, whiny, is the good guy). Perhaps it's good guy who needs to go. He's high maintenance.

uhhhh yea

get rid of high maintenance. that is not good. i don't do high maintenance! then you can have fun with bad boy while figuring out what (who? lol ) to do next

and yea wolfy all those dresses look fab on you. in the least lesbian way possible you have a fantastic body!! haha
