Camping out Sat night. Renting a tent & sleeping bags from Carmichael. I'm covering the cost of the tent (all $12), but the bags are $3 a pop. Am I being a cheapass by not covering the cost of the sleeping bags? It's not the money, just the fact that I'll be surprised if they're used as anything other than blankets with the temperature this weekend

beach - could be chilly if there is a breeze

anywhere else - then i guess you're fine. although at least sleeping on top of the bags seems slightly more comfortable than just sleeping on the floor of the tent. a little more padding.

I have been working on my fish taco recipe, we should get together and have a joint fish taco night. Last time I used Mahi and Tilapia with a lime and herb marinade, also I made some slaw to go on the tacos as well. Was pretty delicious

we use mahi mahi

last time we just put old bay & lime on em...no slaw, just lettuce and salsa. I had a pineapple salsa from trader joe's last time...this time I made our own from the jalapenos & tomatoes in the garden.

I dunno what we'll do tonight...but prolly the same thing.

if you guys like slaw, or just raw cabbage, I would recommend trying that sometime. It gives a good crunch, which is a plus if you are making soft tacos
