Dammit, I need one of you fools to help me save this baby bird. I cannot find the damn thing's nest and it is in my driveway. I made a new nest for it and it's sitting in that right now, but I want it to either be near or in its original nest OR I want it to be taken in by someone who can save the little bastard. Contact me ASAP if you can assist.

I may hate all of you, but the bird doesn't deserve to die a slow death or get run over by my grandparents (Who shouldn't be allowed to drive due to being fucking blind and having no situational awareness) or to be eaten alive by some neighborhood animal. Its mom is trying to feed it but she is scared because it's on the ground. She has food in her mouth and is going near it but she doesn't seem to be willing to feed it. I am staying inside so I don't scare her away. Assistance would be greatly appreciated by this baby bird.

I know nothing of how to save such birds, or I would comment. OTOH, whenever baby animals used to fall in our swimming pool, we scooped them out (usually with the shallow,metal screen-like scooper) and set them on the edge of the woods. Things usually seemed to work out.

We'd had:
a baby turtle
a rat
a baby rabbit
some random bird(s)
and of course many frogs

fall in the pool during the good 'ol days. Not all at once.

Couldn't do any follow up, so don't know how they handled the PTSD
