If Priester is willing to give us a "solid verbal" commitment twice, and then back out on it, and lie to one of his best friends who is currently committed to us, then he's not the type of person I want on our team.

That being said I hope it's all speculation and him having fun with the process and he still ends up here, heck of a talent.

Don't have a problem with someone picking Clemson over us in football. But a commitment should mean something. If you're not sure then don't give a soft verbal or any of that crap. Just say you're undecided.

^ill agree with you when coaches and universities have to honor theirs.

Until then, he did nothing against any rules and didn't break any laws. Cold day in hell before I start getting upset with a high school kid changing his mind.

Plus these things balance out. We've benefitted from players with verbals elsewhere coming here and nobody has a problem with that.

it's not so much that he verballed here and then committed to clemson. it's that he went "soft" after the new coaching regime came in and he reopened his commitment, then he re-declared his commitment after he visited with Doeren and crew, and then decommitted and committed to clemson a week later. but yeah, flaky high school kid, whatever.
