Lana was taking a shower (Another shower scene!!!) and somebody tried to kill her. Everyone thought that it was Alicia, cause she could teleport and everyone thought that she was the only person that could get into the locked room without any signs of entry. She was with Clark at the time though, but even though he defended her, everyone still suspected it was her. Then some random dude asked Lois out on a date to a museum or something. Then someone tried to kill Jason while he was in his car, but the person had to disappear because Clark came and saved him. They found Alicia's scarf in the car so everyone was sure that it was Alicia. Even Clark was suspicious because she had taken off her lead bracelet. The sheriff knew it wasn't her though because at the time, Alicia was being interrogated by the sheriff about the earlier attempted murder on Lana. Alicia tried to convince Clark to reveal his powers to the sheriff so that she wouldn't be so judgemental towards Alicia alone, but he refused. Alicia went to Chloe and didn't exactly tell her about Clark's powers, but set it up so that she could see him catch a car that was about to crash and then run away at super speed. Anyway, it turns out that the random dude that asked out Lois was the attempted killer. He had some kind of "sand teleportation" powers or something. Lois suspected him on the date with him cause he kept saying all this stuff about Smallville needs to be purified of things that weren't right (he thought it was all ammoral or whatever because Jason was dating Lana when Jason was the coach and she was a student). So Alicia goes home to find random dude going through her stuff looking for something he can plant at the next crime scene to frame her, and he drugs her. When Clark arrives at the scene, he finds that the random dude has hung Alicia up on a noose and killed her. He is super pissed off and Lois comes and tells him that she knows who did it. He runs and fights random dude who tries some wimpy sand stuff or whatever but Clark just uses his laser vision to keep him in one place, then almost kills him. Lois stops him though. She then has to go back to Metropolis, but before she goes, Chloe asks her advice on what to do in a situation where "She knows somebodies secret, but since the person has kept it a secret for so long, she doesn't know whether or not she should tell him that she knows." Lois advises her not to reveal that she knows anything until the person tells her on their own accord. That is pretty much it. There was a slight side story about Jason's mother. She tried to convince Lex to do something in return for information on how his dad got out of prison. He knew she was up to something, so he called Jason and wants to team up with him to figure out what she is up to.

I'm sure Jason's mother has something to do with the 3 artifacts Lex is trying to collect that will open the path to the fortress of solitude. Remember, 1 of the artifacts is already inside the cave....he only needs 2 more. Wasn't one of them used to help Lionel switch bodies with Clark? I can't remember.

I agree, this was a very good episode. Best one in a while.

^^ basically clark got offered his full ride to Met U; lois was accused of paralyzing a kid because she kicked him to defend herself, but in fact it was the star QB of the football team who's also from smallville and had the power to basically incapacitate anyone (this is the guy from the OC).

clark goes to visit college, but overhears the QB asking some dude for urine so he can pass his physical, since obviously his powers would show up and they'd know he was cheating. lois and chloe go to investigate the QB, but he grabs lois and takes her to some warehouse and leaves her in a room of running water so she'll drown and not tell anyone about his powers.

chloe finds clark and uses some on-star shit to find the guy's car, and of course clark takes off to save lois, while chloe smiles knowingly. lois has the charges dropped, but she's kicked out of school for underage drinking, so she's gonna live with clark. clark then decides that he'd have to lie about his physicals and stuff to play football, so he decides not to.


there was some side shit about lana and jason, and how he knew about the countess before he met lana. it was kinda stupid, and didn't really tell much.

The powers his Kryptonian physiology gets from our yellow sun are grounded in scientific principles we don't yet understand; they have nothing to do with magic and offer him no more defense against magic than the rest of us would have.

im fine with all the psuedo 'x-files' shit they think they were doinf in s1-2, but the idea was to hint at science, i think introducing magic is a little hard.

He could leap tall buildings in a single bound + strength = Krypton was a planet with massive gravity and thus made superman stronger genetically

I think this episode was suppossed to be plot development for later..but they didn't want it to be boring so they added fighting.

But regardless I liked it. It kept my interest. One of the better ones this year I think as far as storyline. I think as the season goes on there will be a lot of plot that will spur from this episode.

I thought this was a pretty good episode. Although Clark never uses his powers when he should, there are so many opportunities when he could have done things a lot easier.
