and everyone has equal entitlement to games, that's another reason we didn't start it this year. Quite frankly, for very simple legal reasons, we can't just give certain people priorities like that. The school isn't comfortable with that yet, but they will have things in place next year so it's possible. No one here pays a few to cover tickets, so be thankful for what you get

hell, half the people don't know how to use the system as is so there's not really a need to have anything implemented at this time. If you rewarded loyalty, then I'm sure some people would moan and groan that their ticket didn't get scanned at a game so they'd be pissed. And this appeal stuff is a load of horse crap, cause anyone can just whine and say their ticket didn't get scanned when in fact they didn't even go. I'm not sure how strict the appeals process is though. The only way I see to prevent that is to collect one of the barcodes: either the one on the right side of the ticket or the big one on the page by itself. If there's a problem, the person with the scanner can cut out the barcode and keep it.

Comment -- you should not be aloud to cancel your ticket if it is past the time before you get a penalty. It is misleading and pointless to cancel your ticket after that time. Allowing this ensures the person gets the penalty and that the ticket can not be given to someone else.

I went to cancel my ticket on Friday and since it let me I didn't think I was going to get a penalty. If I knew I was past the time I would have found someone to give it to. This is also something that will end a lot of arguments over whether people cancelled their tickets in time.

how many people claimed

how many tickets were left over

how many people won in the second lottery

etc, etc



at least with the old system someone would say they got voucher number 5555 at 5:30pm and we could all say--well, there were about 6000 vouchers given out and only about half of those are gonna win





also, concerning the way groups work: if the group leader wins that means everybody in the group automatically wins? or can you be in a group where the group leader wins but you don't win?

if everyone in the group automatically wins, then it's not really as random as it could be since instead of 100 people in a lottery you have say 5 people representing 19 people each. So when those 5 group leaders are put into a lottery with people who requested single tickets and a group leader wins, he doesn't win 1 ticket but actually a total of 20 tickets?

is that the way it works?
