Once you get 3 schematics for Nuka Grenades and Bottlecap Mines you can make 3 nades/mines with each crafting!

I use bottlecap mines all the time. They do so much damage, and it's pretty easy to find all the ingredients.

just like any other mine. Any enemy will walk towards you. So put a mine between you and them.

I usually use them by dropping them in a doorway, walking into a room and shooting someone, then running back through the door. They chase after me.


The first one through the door is dead. If someone's following close behind he's probably crippled.

i spent a good 1.5 hours trying to find the true history of rivet city, but could never find that pinkerton guy? i eventually gave up and just went and told moira that i couldn't get a straight answer out of anyone.

Go up to the flight deck, go south to where the ship is broken in half, and jump into the water.

Then swim under and you'll see a small tunnel on the broken off part, swim into it and you'll reach a door.

There's some mirelurks in there, but go up a couple of levels and you'll find him.

Make sure you create a separate save file before you get to the last mission of the main quest. Once you finish it, the game ends completely and you can't do any side quest.

i usually rock around with the android's plasma rifle, the Lincoln repeater, the Burnmaster flamethrower, and a few bottlecap mines and nuka grenades

i switch out the burnmaster with miniguns and laser gatlings depending on the area





***QUEST REWARD SPOILER***

after loading up an old save file, I found that you get the reward from Roy from either peacefully moving them into the towers or forcefully...it's a ghoul mask that makes it so feral ghouls won't attack you when you wear it...it also gives 3 damage reduction and can be worn with some helmets

idiot moment of the day:
i ran into some Raiders on the way to the GNR place and one of them had a flamethrower, well i got burned of course and i picked up the FT once i killed the guy. it said "you cannot run because you are overencumbered". well i am not the best at vocabulary so i thought overencumbered meant i was badly burned and couldnt move fast. so for 45 minutes i am trying to walk across the wasteland and slowing down the laser guys during supermutant battles...finally i figure out that i was just carrying too much shit and i could run again

Yeah I always fast travel back home as soon as I find a new map marker and am approaching max carry weight.

I keep all my extra armor, weapons, and food in one locker, and all my custom weapon ingredients in the other locker.

I disarmed it twice and detonated once.

I have 2 games going on at once right now.

There are several advantages to disarming. First, the Megaton house is faster to get to than the Tenpenny house.

Second, you can still use Tenpenny tower if you disarm. Detonating it removes Megaton from the game.
