My body just can't hold up it like it use to. I remember working back-to-back-to-back doubles behind the bar in my mid twenties. These were basically 18-hour shifts, active and on your feet all day. At the end of those runs, I still felt brand new.

One of the female bartenders at my old bar is on her bachelorette party this weekend and took 90% of the bar staff with her so they called me to fill in and I worked Friday night and a double yesterday. My body is literally decimated. Waste down feels like sore jello. I do feel like most normal 30 year olds couldn't pull off that many hours in a physically demanding job...but I thought I was different.

I got a 2005 mercury sable LS wagon (fully loaded with only 24,000 miles on it!)

I frequently go camping and have a dog and a child on the way. Didn't want an SUV or a Crossover as those both get shitty mileage and I couldn't find one with low miles that I could buy for $4K cash like I did with this car.

Long story short, I'm old now.

Recurrent, nagging lower back pain. Guess I need to strengthen my core/back muscles and lose some weight...but this wasn't a problem a year ago, and I was no stronger or slimmer than I am now.
