Yeah I don't know what is going on with Staal. Just looks like he's not putting in much effort out there.

I distinctly remember 1 play where he got knocked down at the goal and just sat there for a good 5-7 seconds watching to see if the shot from the blue line was gonna go in rather than hopping up and looking for a rebound

Again, Staal was pretty much useless tonight. He had a few good shifts. Brind'Amour looks lost somehow? Decent game overall by the D corps. They did have both goals. It's obvious that we've lost 54 man games, though. I almost couldn't recognize half of the bench.
