i met some truly evil folks in the ncsu administration and police departments who used their power to do everything they could to ruin peoples lives. hell, my career at ncsu was even cut short by a dickhead cop with nothing better to do than harass a kid who called him a dickhead cop on the internet thankfully the whole unc system didnt feel that i dont deserve an education

on to the point.... if i listed these terrible people, paul cousins would not be on that list -- and i've dealt with paul personally many times. first time i was 18 and i did something really stupid and he did everything he could to keep me in school and to keep me interested in returning when he couldnt keep me in school and i got suspended for 3 semesters. never had a run-in with him again after that, besides the email he sent me to ask how i was doing and adjusting after my time off

then that hacking crap happened in like 2004

even 10 years later, after the nc superior court stated that krosser was a terrible cop who abused his power and betrayed those entrused to his care, i called paul, and he sent me copies of all the paperwork i needed to get me quickly transferred into another school

he doesnt live to screw kids over, he actually gives a fuck. and i hate to see people talk bad about a guy who really cares

Back in the day you could do something wild and the only people who would know about it would be yourself, the eye witnesses and their immediate friends. Now you do something wild and end up being seen by 3 million people on Youtube. The video gets passed around amongst everyone who has ever had contact with you including your family and co-workers. Sometimes I hate this era. Not only can I not get wild, but I also feel that many people restrain their actions in ways that they would not have felt compelled in the past.

Just heard through the grapevine that RPD has contacted all the officers in the IFC and told them to pass the word around that they are actively searching for creators of the new face book group and plan to arrest those involved in the planning. These kids are fucked and I highly doubt anything of much significance will happen Friday night. Sunday was fun and random and it turned out well. RPD played it cool and handled their business. Don't mistake this for weakness freshmen, the cops WILL fuck you up this Friday.
