Ahh...that makes sense. I wish you could just check which circles you'd like to stream, instead of clicking the individual circle and only streaming it one at a time (or all at once). But the circles encompassing other circles isn't too bad.

It's kinda random with the email alerts. I get like one for every 5 or 7 people who add me and none for any post that is added to something I replied to... but then I get one from a Sam who has the same name as another Sam.

On the right side of your G+ homepage below the "Go Mobile" there is a button that says send invites. Or you can check out page 2 of this thread for how to do it another way.
