I *think* they are still waiting on the transcript before the appeal even gets started. At least, that's what the Justice For Brad website says.

They usually do, but he was assigned to Central. He'll be up for relocation if he's still in prison every 2 years I think? Most people aren't kept at Central, since it's mostly a processing unit, but that's where he'll stay for his first 2 years. I guess since he doesn't really have any family in the country, it's good that he's close to his attorneys at least.
