I have the same problem with the wavy/curly hair thing. My hair is naturally wavy but I always straighten it. When I do use the diffuser to dry it after putting this "curl defining" mousse in, it can look crunchy. What I have found to work is using less of the product, still using the diffuser, and then using a curling iron to give some pieces of hair a better curl/wave. Kinda time consuming though. Also, another tip I saw that lessens the frizz is when using the diffuser, don't touch your hair (no scrunching). Your fingers pull the little frizzies out.

Quote :
"I keep hearing horror stories about healthy people having a stroke or deep vein thrombosis (or dying) bc of complications from NuvaRing. The worst side effects are really scary.

I've been on it for 3 years, and my initial side effects were bad. Just insane mood swings and deep depressions. They've gotten better, but I think that's mostly bc I'm single. My fights with the ex were HORRIBLE once I went on NuvaRing. And my temper is still pretty bad. Would prefer something that doesn't cause severe mood swings."

I was on it for two years, no side effects like that at all. Certainly no clots or crazy mood swings. Every woman is different when it comes to what birth control works for her, I suppose.

I did, however, recently switch to Yaz and my acne is now completely gone. My OBGYN was concerned that Mirena would make my skin worse (due to the progestin), though I definitely considered that option before switching to Yaz.

Blargh.

Where can I find well-priced, plain black polo shirts in plus size with >1/4 length sleeves, and hopefully at least hip length (I'm 5'4)?

talbot's will NOT be reasonably priced; thanks for the lands end reminder!

Lands end = jackpot!

Not a fan of spending $20-$30/shirt, but it'll definitely work.

last time i bought stuff it was adam & eve and i used some code (doll1 maybe?) to get 50% off, free shipping and some freebie extras, all told it was like $20-30

Cute! I like the top in the second pic slightly more only bc of the tan line issue. The top pic is cooler looking though.

I got one of these bras in april; I just bought three more today - but at the hanes outlet in morrisville. They're $23 there.

Highly recommend, in case it wasn't clear

I was also considering the black with gold whipstitching but Saks didn't have them so it just wasn't meant to be.. plus I figured these would be more versatile and basically go with everything.

I know a girl that was wearing white shorts over her white bikini bottoms that said Roxy on the butt.

When she got home and got in the shower she noticed that Roxy had been tanned into her butt.

I saw her butt.

Unfortunately they're 96 buckaroonies but I've been contemplating the purchase for so long now and finally decided to just fork up the money and get them. You can find them at Soho at Crabtree Valley Mall or Nordstrom's.. if you want them from Saks then they need to be ordered.

Soho is the best place to buy them because you can mix and match color combos of the stitching and the rest of the upper. When I get them I'll tell you if they're worth it.. they better be REALLY comfortable or I'm gonna be mad lol

Yea I definitely want to know how comfortable they are. Those flat kind of sandals that are similar to that kill my back.

my coworker has 8000 pairs of jack rogers and she said when you first get them, until you break them in, they hurt your feet.

also be careful when wearing them when it's raining outside because they slip really bad and she's almost fallen a few times.

I think I like Alexis Bleidel's (sp) the best... I want something that can go with curly hair or straight hair and still look good
