Did anyone else watch the new episode of Locked Up Abroad (Bangkok)? An Australian man moved to Bangkok to teach English, but didn't make enough money to support his night life habbits. He started smuggling prostitutes to other Asian nations. Then he was offered to smuggle heroin to Los Angeles. He was caught in a sting operation in Bangkok and given a life sentence. Then he started shooting up even though most prisoners had HIV. He got out on an Australian medical pardon after he almost died from HIV. What a dumb ass.

I hate that she didn't even talk to me...I got denied a position through voicemail tag. First message she was interested but confused, 1st message I left I thought cleared up confusion, then I don't hear anything, then I call back and leave another message, then she leaves me a message saying a) she talked to me (no), b) they extended the position to someone else and c) she'll keep it on file. You never even talked to me

Well I hope she feels even more dumb when I left my last message to please keep my resume on file and then name dropped my dad for knowing one of the attorneys in the firm (they used to work together...he wanted to say hello when I told him who I was applying with)

Should prolly just keep my maiden name on my resume...as dirty as that makes me feel

one of my most recent dealings with an HR person dealt with them calling and leaving a message at 12am on a Sunday morning telling me to call Monday morning. So I try calling at 9, and then again at 11, both times leaving messages. I finally hear back from her at 530 that evening and she isn't even at her "office" (she supposedly works from home...). She tries to get information from me to see what I want, thinking she is going to remember it all for some reason, and fails miserably, because I follow up with her later via email, and she firstly asks who I am. I had to tell her again, and she did the whole "ooooh, your the guy that blah blah blah," except she had mixed her facts up completely. Totally frustrating, because I know I was perfectly qualified for the job, but I feel like I might not get hired because she totally fails at hers...I mean this isn't a major corporation, but it is a five office clinic, you would think they would have this shit straight.
