Xtine - this is the bag I use, it's supposed to be a knitting bag so that means it's pretty damn roomy. I can fit 3 paperbacks in that sucker. http://www.knitbin.com/Namaste-Newport-Bag_p_318.html

They probably have it in different colors in other places. Mine's dark purple.

Has anyone gotten their hair cut at The Emerald Academy before? I need a haircut & a relaxer but I don't know if I should go here (near my house) or Mitchell's Hair Styling Academy? on Buck Jones Rd.

and i know you guys don't get relaxers, it's more the cut I'm worried about

^^^white shoes are HIDEOUS, ESPECIALLY at a wedding. I don't care how many white shoes have been sold. I still think they're tacky. I know they're supposed to be OK now, but it's just something I could never do.

And no offense, but you're one of the last people I'd take fashion advice from. I hate everything you've ever posted in this thread.

^ I like those! You could pull them off. I think they'd look silly on most people, though.

^^ That last one would look great on a severely underweight person who would still look skinny in a muumuu

It's seriously a short muumuu

I do like your other pics

BTW, has anyone ordered a bathing suit from Old Navy? If so, how's the quality? They're super cheap right now.

i think that dress would look great with the black shoes you posted last page if you want to avoid the whole debate. you could also do a pair of sage, mint, or khaki green shoes (complimentary) or even a yellow hue (2/3) with it too. I'd look for a patterned wrap featuring that color to go with.

So, I've looked over the last few pages and found a ton of cute bikinis, but I need suggestion for big girl swimsuits.

I'm a size 12, and if you've seen me IRL you know I have ass and hips for days I have a tummy and I'm a D cup so I need support there too. I'm probably looking at the wrong things, so I need your advice and links.

HELP!

V I would look awful in anything with ruching or polka dots

i think the skirt could be cute... i think the best thing you can do is go try em on.... might not be the most fun thing in the world, but that way you have a better idea of what would work.

nordstroms usually has an awesome variety of suits - and obviously you don't have to buy anything

^^^ LOVE that suit

and livinproof i think your outfit looks great. the shoes are cute even though they are white and look good with the seersucker dress. what material are the shoes?

i'm a little picky about white shoes myself but mostly just for me personally - but the style and material matter most to me in deciding whether or not i would wear them. i like the style of yours they seem really summery so i think the white works well. plus its seersucker so that makes white work even more, in myyyy opinion haha.

It's an old Tommy Hilfiger style. Not a very recent style ... just an example of a type to look for.

If I didn't already have a bikini, I would be tempted to get this suit. It's gotten a lot of good reviews, and looks classy!

Sarah,
Is that a permanent divider in that purse, or just a pouch that happened to be in the centeR? I also don't know tha tI want a pink bag (they only have two colors, and eggplant is a $10 premium )

Holly,
That is EXACTLY the bag I was thinking of! Thank you.

It's a permanent divider/zipper pouch. I can't find another website that has them that cheap in different colors, though. Every other place has them for the original $69 price.

punchmonk,

This is seersucker fabric:

It's amazing and is so light and airy that it feels like you barely have anything on. One time I was wearing seersucker shorts and after I finished getting all dressed and ready, I had to look down to make sure I had bottoms on
