how was the detroit experience

Less painful than I had thought, because:

1. I was wooed by the catchy fountain (and I wasn't the only one)
2. I didn't have to catch a flight in Terminal A
3. My flight in Terminal B was at gate B1, so nowhere to have to walk to
4. I found a spot, plugged in my phone, and just crashed. (Oh, and, unlike the unlucky folks trying to get to Syracuse, the flight to RDU was not delayed. We were on time. They were delayed to 1 a.m. departure, instead of originally leaving before us. OUCH)

OTOH, still a bit disappointing because:
1. What kind of idiot designs an airport like this?
2. No free wifi
3. All the chair/benches of chairs have individual armrests, so nowhere good to lay down. Just laid on the floor (way too tired to care).
