OH YEAH I FORGOT ABOUT THIS STORY

So ive got a thing to pass the time, where I like to mess around with dealers whom I enjoy their company.

There's this thing I'll do, where I sit the button upright on the side, balancing it with a $25 chip on top. If dont perfectly, it's a very delicate situation.

when I'm the button and bored, Ill do this, and tell the dealer that if they can sling a card under the button, stopping ht ecard under the upright button, without disturbing the chip, they get a $100 tip.

Well, as it turns out, I thought it was impossible, hence why i'll make the deal.

Hell, it seems impossible.

then it happened.

2 weekends ago at borg.

things were set up perfect i guess... i was in the 7, which seems to be the best angle of attack...

Then a dealer who I enjoy, but cannot remember her name right now got it on the first try.

So, I owned up to the deal, handed off a stack.

I really, really, really thought it was a physical impossibility, that's why I offered the $100.

Just more as a scam to get in good with the dealers... it's never a bad thing to have them on your side.. esp. if they think that you are giving the chance at a nice tip, they'll remember that...

i was pissed though.

RFID for chips over a certain denom.

chips are very strictly cast from a specific manufacturer, and they hold tight reigns on the production values that are used for chip security.

it may be easier than money, but it's still not worth the effort.

my thing about the 800 was more of opportunity costs.

the 800 was a number to reflect the amount of cash avail. at the ifnal table, not necessarily the $800 specifically.

Anyone watched any of the US Poker Championship from 2006 where he is talking shit to some guy he keeps calling a fish, and the guy totally fucking owns him when he tries to bet Victor $100k that he will be in the tourney still tomorrow. The guy even said he would have the money on the table in 10min and would rely on Victors word. He pretty much shut up after that. Was fucking awesome.

i won a 50 man tournament at the blue martini tonight...even though theres a lot of scrubs and fish early on, the final table were all people i respect as poker players. it felt good to win, and the $50 gift certificate to pay my bar tab was nice.

just got back from a club in downtown manhattan. I was playing 1/2 nl, bought in for 240, had about 630 in chips when all of a sudden the police roll up into the place.....it takes about 2 hrs, but they eventually kick everyone out without their chips. During the time the police were handling everything I sold my entire stack for $100 bucks. lol, better than getting nothing for them, it really sucks to get stuck like that though, especially since I decided i was gonna make a comeback and this wouldn've been a nice start to building a roll.
