So B&BW's lotion, Twilight Woods smells GODAWFUL on me.



1.) That's what I get for buying something called "Twilight Woods"
2.) It smelled fine when I was in the store and applied it to my skin, so I thought I was good to go.
3.) I don't have a receipt, think they will let me exchange it for a different scent if I bring it back?

On the way to work this morning it started to smell horrible. . I smelled like an old lady. No wait, let me be more specific. The old lady in the nursing home that got roses 6 months ago and they have since died and are sitting in dirty vase water . . . dead dirty rose water and old lady despair. That's what this smells like.

hmm they might not but its worth a shot. a lot of stores can do the cc look up thing

if they won't take it, just give it to someone who likes the smell. body sweat will mix with lotions and perfumes and change they way they smell

and speaking of smelling

ive been trying out a new deodorant and loves it! i was using dove which was fine (and free, i had access to like, hundreds of samples and they've been doing me good since college.. no kidding)

but i wanted to try something new, a little less...chemical. so i went to LUSH and got hooked up with this deodorant bar they sell (they have one for men too, this isnt that one) and some coconut scented powder that you apply over it

i like it pretty good so far. i do not stink, which i was concerned about since i live in a very hot & humid place. in fact, today it was in the mid 90s and while i was sweating (who wouldnt) i wasnt stinkin! i have noticed that by the end of the day (like now) i smell a tiny tiny funk. so if i were going out i'd reapply or shower but otherwise, no big.

can't find the deodorant bar but this is the powder i use with it

what are you ladies using?

i use dove but i kinda wanna switch to tom's

when my mom was in the hospital she had to have aluminum free deodorant and i got her tom's at the whole foods whole body store and it smelled awesome. i haven't tried it personally but i really want to switch. i just have all this dove (haha like you) that i'm almost through so then i might try the tom's stuff. or something similar from whole body - they have several brands (maybe kiss my face? i dunno i'm gonna read reviews before i pick!)

^^^I've tried a bunch of different ones and secret clinical protection is the only one that works really well for me, but I'd like something a little less chemically (i.e. aluminum free). how messy is it to apply the powder?

i like the degree clinical strength stuff. in the winter you can skip at least a day without any difference. plus i like their fresh scent and the romance scent a lot. usually they cost twice what regular degree costs, but i found a bunch on half-off recently.

^^^ the powder isnt messy at all. i put it on before i get dressed and so far i havent had an issue with it rubbing off on my clothes. however, when i have tried to apply it when i'm already dressed, i do get powder on my clothes...so i just dont do it anymore

i wore this to a reception at school tonight (pics are bad - photobooth lol) and got a lot of compliments and now i'm kinda like boooo maybe i should have saved it to wear tomorrow for graduation!

oh well i'm wearing sleeveless for grad cause even though its inside it'll be hot. i was hot at the reception ton just cause there were so many bodies in a tiny area. but what i'm really proud of is that this is a $110 dress that i found on the sale rack at macy's for $40. yayyyyy (just ignore my hair/face i got rained on etc - not pretty so i made a fish face ahahaha). i just really liked the neckline. and the price. and the color (which is a lot more vibrant than this pic) because i own nothing in this color.

thanks!!! at first i thought it was momish and it is kinda but since it was for a law school reception i kinda wanted to be conservative lol. i thought the blue was really pretty too i'm just such a weirdo and hate buying colorful things haha. i always buy neutrals. not because i don't like color but i'm scurred of it.

AND it was also $40 so i figure it was worth it and i'll get good use out of it

yea i always liked babysitting cause usually the people have better tv than me - i mean it isn't hard i have a really shitty tv and not too many channels hahaha. but that is pretty cool. do they have good food? i mean i babysat for some all organic people and they had all the delicious organic snacks that i WOULD buy if i could afford that shit.

but at the same time i also don't hate babysitting for people who buy their kids gushers and shit either because i will definitely eat like an entire box of gushers in a sitting.
