Ever have a month where no matter how good your intentions are, how hard you try and how good a person you are that life just gives you a shit sandwich in return? Yeah, that's my month.

On the heels of my car incident about a month ago, I'm driving home tonight on Centennial coming around a turn when I see a deer about 15 feet in front of me on the side of my car. It decides just as I'm passing it to leap in to the passenger side of my car denting the door, front quarter panel and smashing my passenger side light.

Another $500 deductible to pay and surely my insurance is going to rise because of two things that happened to my car completely out of my control. Oh yeah, I still haven't found a job.

i've had this for like 12 months. 8 months it was really bad. and it is why i think the universe should just let me have passed the bar exam haha

I'll get it back out there eventually. And we'll have fun, like we used to. We'll see the beauty of skies as the sun sets behind the mountains. It will be quiet and peaceful, with only sound that we hear are those of crickets and cicadas. A night run would be nice; we've never done that before. Maybe we'll come across some deer along the way. Maybe then we can say hello to them, but I doubt they will stay long enough. And the tree's leaves and pine needles will rustle in a calm wind as the environment around me goes dark, almost pitch black, with you to light the path before me. Perhaps the clouds above will share some of the moon's light. Tranquility. We'll get there again, one day. I'll take you there and you'll have fun again. I can give you 318 reasons to go back out there. Just hang in there for me. I live to hear you roar, to feel you pull me from side to side and front to back as I control you. You are my ecstasy. You are my passion. You are my dream.

It appears I, once again, have nothing to do, and being my last day have no drive to do anything. I wonder if I should just get my paycheck and sneak out for good at lunch

Also, I am less than impressed with this HR woman's attention to detail. She forgot to attach my flight itinerary and the application papers I need to fill out. She did forward the application papers like 2 minutes after the original email, but guess I need to ask for the flight info as well.

I'm pretty nerdy actually, however, I've repressed it alot in the past year or so and I've finally started letting it out again (Anything zombie related, multiple hours days of straight playing on the XBox, watching a ton of Star Trek TNG, etc...)

Haha, same here. I've suppressed mine a bit as well lately but its starting to come out again. I'll have to see what I have time for as far as games when I get back. Don't have any new games, but I might pick up one or two to kill some time here and there. I already need to get NCAA 2011 for an online dynasty with a group of buddies.

Time to go clean up the lab i guess

I could never get into sports games, especially on consoles I still enjoy gaming, but "adult" responsibilities are getting in the way these days and I've found out what my dad was saying in regards to "not enough time in a day" when I was much younger. Seriously, I'd be okay with disabling my need to sleep 8 hours everyday. That would really help me out with my time management issues.

Just sent a 4 page, 1,602 word email to the big boss answering the question of why I chose to leave this fail internship early, based off of the fast time scale of the job interview (356) and describing why I couldn't do any work at all (914 words) - aka why the internship was fail as hell.
