Okay some of you NCSU coaching search trackers need to help me find the Canes flight back to Raleigh now.

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/PCE3528

I think that is the flight. It flew into Montreal Tuesday afternoon and has been waiting there, and departs soon.

I believe the flight number is H13528, but I may be wrong (it's the only plane that hasn't left Montreal for Raleigh yet...set to arrive a little after 12).

^don't be so sure...it's the same final 4 numbers (3528), although I'm not sure if that means anything

Could be it then

Aftermath said it would be arriving between 12:45 and 1:00. Sounds like most people are meeting at the observation deck.

there is a chance that that isn't the hurricanes team plane, that could be some type of chartered flight for fans or something, because on thursday i think, i saw hockey players in the RBC Center which looked like them (webcam on the desktop FTW.)

oh and looking at it now it looks bad fucking ass, all the lights are off but the scoreboard sponsor lights are on.. hah

Directions:

Quote :
"Easy Directions.
Take 40 East or West to Aviation Parkway. Head toward the airport. Sty in the right lanes toward the terminals. Drive past The parking deck on your left terminals on your right.

After you go pass the second terminal take a hard right turn. Stay on that road and follow the signs to Park and Ride 4. You can park at the observation deck or somewhere around there. The plane will land across the street where you see all of the Fed Ex and UPS planes."

they had three more pp's then us, and one of our goals was called back YET ...

Quote :
"Carolina doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs still. I mean the horrible officiating gave them the win in game three. In game four once again stupid refereeing - does Williams have a get out of the box free pass - another blatant high stick and no call again. And the goals tonite?? I mean one goes off Dandenault's butt and the winner has a Hurricane tying up Huet in the crease and Brind'Amour scoring on a freak bank shot off Huet while he's tied up. Unbelievable!!! Montreal is probably doomed now thanks to the horrid refereeing and lucky bounces in these last 2 games."

Quote :
"i am sick and tired of players in the crease. that last goal shouldn't have counted. huet had a stick between his legs for gods sake. nice high stick on markov though, what a great call, or the one on rivet after the whistle. 2 strikes for williams, kiovu is out, suspend williams for a couple. two high sticks in two games. maybe not so big of an accident. referees have won 2 games, montreal won 2, and carolina are still at zero. come on!!!"

They cancelled all of my league's hockey games on Sunday because of the playoff game. Glad I get to watch it now.

I love reading those TSN posts. Its funny how they bitch and moan about reffing for not calling a high stick but make no mention of the bullshit nullified goal.

most were outraged at the gwg goal too, bc bring'amour 1. had a foot in the crease and 2. had his stick between the legs of huet

the deck was clearly stacked against the canes. if you watch the highlights on nhl.com, youll hear some douche commentator note that the refs had to 'approve' that goal, as if all our goals were considered suspect until shown to be clean.

Feet in the crease are totally irrelevant. The crease basically only exists now for the calling of goalie interference and the judgment of penalty shots against out-skaters who cover the puck.

Quote :

Can't review a no-goal called for goaltender interference.

suposedly the man in the crease kept huet from moving to the right so that he could make the save

I know that's not your personal claim, but that's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard.

That French fuck had no clue where the puck was.

"Saku Koivu returned home from the hospital yesterday, but contrary to a published report in a Montreal newspaper today, Koivu is not yet in the clear and most definitely is not scheduled to return to the Carolina-Montreal series.

The Canadiens are encouraged Koivu has been released from hospital, but is still undergoing tests on his damaged eye. Those tests cannot be completed yet because there remains too much blood in and behind the eye, so it's likely another day or two at least before a definitive prognosis can be made.

A source close to the Canadiens described as "ludicrous" the report that suggested Koivu is a strong possibility to return to face Carolina in the playoffs."

Ottawa is the #1 seed. Carolina is #2. It isn't possible for them to play until the conference finals. If Carolina wins they will play New Jersey and Ottawa will play the winner of the Buffalo/Philadelphia series. If Montreal wins, Ottawa will play Montreal, and New Jersey will play the winner of the Buffalo/Philadelphia series.

Quote :
"Note: The bracket re-seeds after each round so that, among remaining teams, the top seeded team plays the lowest seeded team in its conference."
