Yeah it was Jacob's list.
Since Goodwin and Ethan were the ones that we saw Ben send out to get lists, it either means that a 3rd person was sent out... someone we've thought has been one of the survivors all along and is still undercover with them... or Jacob is another Other we don't know about that has been observing them.
Maybe the eye-patch guy in the other hatch? Since he shut off the camera when they rigged it to look at him, he must have a way of watching the Pearl, and probably the Swan as well. 11/10/2006 5:35:54 PM |

Awww, darlin', listen okay? Before Lost you were doing commercials for phone sex, so you should probably just go ahead and shut up, because a thousand other women could take your place as the wet t-shirt on the show right now. I'm sure the single mom who just took out that second mortgage to pay for little Billy's operation can appreciate just how hard you have it having to wake up in your luxury suite in Hawaii to go play dress up and read somebody else's words." |

How is Heroes Lost's worst nightmare? I can see how you would like Heroes a lot more, and so far I do.
Another TV show that gets people hooked that isnt competing isnt going to worry Lost's producers. The people that are hooked are going to keep watching.

timing isnt my argument, its more about how Heroes will present a new question to intrigue the audience and then will actually answer the question within a week or two...which keeps the viewer happy
Lost will present a question at the end of an episode as a cliffhanger and then will wait months to even bring the question back up, at which point they will overlay the first question with a more in depth question that will again go unanswered.
At first it was okay since Lost fans didnt know the difference and just went with what the Lost writers gave them. Now that Heroes has come out with their quick question-answer process (which they probably decided to do after reading Lost message boards and seeing viewers frustration) viewers are seeing how a show should be written and that they dont need to feel unfulfilled from a damn tv show. Lost had better pick up the pace with their writing or fans will quit saying that they are going to stop watching and actually will.
I personally feel more and more frustrated after watching episodes of Lost. I never feel that way with Heroes. If that makes any sense.
I love both shows, but the same Lost shit is getting a little old and played out

I can understand that, and I feel the same way with regards to Lost vs Heroes. But I am still going to be watching both, as are most people who follow both shows I would think, so I dont think the Losties are too worried.
Lost is ending in a year or two anyways. It was a good learning experience for the Heroes guys and Im sure if the Lost producers try it again, they can use a lot of what Heroes has done so well.1/15/2007 2:56:06 PM |

Quote : | "Producers of ABC’s hit tropical island drama, “Lost,” said on Sunday they’re trying to set an end date for the show.
Although no one said the end is anywhere near, producers hope a deadline will help writers to figure out what direction they want their story to take and how to end.
"Once we figure out when that will be, a lot of the questions like why aren't we learning more, will go away," said Carlton Cuse, an executive producer for "Lost" which reached its third season.
"It's always been discussed that the show will have a beginning, a middle and an end; and once (the end) is decided, we'll know how to answer some of those questions."
It's not a question of wanting the show to last a long time or ABC wringing every last dime it can out of the series.
The producers, citing Fox's "The X-Files," said they didn't want to wear out their welcome. "That was a great show that probably ran two seasons too long," Cuse said. "That is a cautionary tale for us."
"The most honest answer we can give you," said executive producer Damon Lindelof, "is that we want the show to last as long as it's good."
Lindelof has long said he envisions the story as taking about 100 episodes to tell.
"Somewhere in the neighborhood of 90 to 100 episodes was going to be a version of 'Lost' where we never had to do the bad season, the stall season, where we had to back off the story we wanted to tell," Lindelof says. "Season one is the introduction, season two is the hatch, season three is the Others, I don't want to tell you what season four is going to be, and then there's a wrapup season."
The series continues starting February 7, and it will reveal what happens to Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangline Lilly) and Sawyer (Josh Holloway). We'll also learn a lot about Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell).
By the end of next season, "Lost" will have aired 93 episodes, Lindelof says, "and I imagine that would be very close to where it would end ideally."
To those judging the entire current series of “Lost” based on six episodes shown in the fall, Cuse warns against making premature assessments.
“If we only showed you the first six episodes of last year,” he said, “you’d probably think, `What? Has the show just become about the tail section people?’ And those characters are basically now all dead.
“By time we got on through the entire season last year, we feel like we covered everyone’s stories. And I think the same will be true when you see the third season in its totality. You’ll have a much better sense of what everybody’s been doing.”
However, ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson downplayed talk of ending the show, saying "we've had those discussions for the past two years."" |
