LOL at Zoubek.
I'm still waiting for a team(Like us or UNC) that will be able to pound the hell out of them down inside. 11/9/2007 10:06:17 PM |

duke lacks inside scoring but i seriously doubt a k team lacks post defense. their freshmen class is crazy. easily 3 of the 4 best players on the team with henderson. smith is already getting pt over paulus.
Its going to be a heck of a three team conference... 11/10/2007 1:52:06 AM |

Yeah, but it's good to see the squad and hear predictions for the team this year.
The coach and player interviews usually aren't that bad.

After the 1st week of college backetball, there are currently 200 undefeated teams (started with 340 teams)
last year we had a thread for this. Not sure if we need to recreate it for this season. It was interesting to keep an eye on. 11/11/2007 10:16:32 PM |

gg by the Wolfpack womens team today
only gave up 29 points to UNCG
it's pretty hard to win a game when your # of turnovers is higher than your fieldgoal percentage (29 > 22) 11/11/2007 11:56:59 PM |

i don't understand why ESPN can't do more HD basketball games.. I understand they have them all in use for football games but you would think one of the nearby trucks for any of these games could pick up one of them.. and once the season really gets going having only 1 game out of 8 or 9 on ESPN/ESPN2 in HD is pitiful.. fuck the NBA 11/12/2007 11:29:48 PM |

Clemson will play @ Mississippi State on Thurs. on Fox Sports South at 8 pm. Mississippi State is projected by many to win the SEC West. They were in a few publication's pre-season Top 25 projections. Clemson won a very close game against Mississippi State last year at home early on in the season. This will be a good one to watch as it should be a close game and will also let us know if Clemson is for real or not. 11/14/2007 9:16:04 PM |

Humphrey Coliseum where Mississippi State plays is an underrated venue and a very tough place to play. One of the toughest in the SEC. Nicknamed "The Hump", it seats 10,500. This will be a big test for Clemson. Let's hope they win for the ACC and our schedule.

^ i would say losing by 15 is still better than what some other top 25 teams could do against carolina. you can also argue for those 8 easy points they should have had and say that the sloppy effort is due to it being their first game.
not sayin 0-1 should get u in, just sayin they probably deserve to be there more than some other teams based on how they were playing.
