no, actually, my initial post made perfect sense, it was just too complicated for you to understand so I tried to dumb it down/simplify it/not leave anything too hard for you to understand in it, but apparently you couldn't figure that out either. My proof? You haven't pointed out even one sentence that you didn't agree with and instead made a blanket statement about the whole thing. I can maybe understand not fully comprehending every sentence (perhaps you were not aware of the evolution argument for example) but either a) you never had any intention of engaging in a debate and just like to hit the keys on your keyboard, b) just saw that it was ME who made the post and since you don't like ME, you decided that the content of the message was irrelevant, or c) are a troll.

a, b or c all point to the same conclusion which is that your being in TSB is totally useless and with ill intent.

it was ok. He did make one or two decent points about taking some of the quotes out of context. However, hearing them in context didn't really change the meaning.
And.... he seems to have missed the joke about what Stewart really meant when he claimed Fox News was "liberal." Or, if he got the joke, many of his viewers probably won't

its an opinionated program, and he doesnt give a shit if he pisses people off when expressing his views. thats why i like him. hes passionate and enthusiastic about expressing his ideals and beliefs. his show wouldnt be as popular, or even on the air, if he was a drab character. in fact, he wants to get a rise out of liberals and naysayers, so you are doing exactly what he wants.

i know, not everything he says is rational and can be far fetched, but if he makes an argument, he usually backs it with legitimate evidence and reason. and he does make solid arguments quite often. i dont watch and listen to his rants blindly. you got to be skeptical when watching a show like that, even if you have similar views.

nevertheless, its his program, he can do what he wants and say what he wants as long as he keeps getting viewers. no one forces you to watch him, or even acknowledge his presence on the air.

the problem in general with Beck, and specifically with that clip, is that he presupposes that everyone watching, nay, everyone in America, has been fooled, and that if we would just open our eyes, we would all realize that Beck has been right the whole time. It's unfathomable to him that there are people who like many or most of the things Obama is doing, and that's why they voted for him to begin with. Hating Obama is like a religion to him - deeply religious people literally cannot imagine how someone can't believe in a god. Those thoughts just don't compute in their heads. Beck can't imagine how people would agree with Obama's policies or agendas - it just doesn't compute for him.

I mean, what's he really trying to say - he didn't like Obama before the election, which he made clear, and he still doesn't like Obama. Oh yeah? no shit. Thanks for the update
