right. too many of our people in albany elected to attack UMD instead of defending albany. there were already plenty of people attacking from other places which allowed maryland to attack albany because those people were not defending.

A month is too long. They need to shoot for games in the 1-2 week range. To that end, I'd reward teams with players that log in more frequently. They should make it a little closer to real risk, where you can grab regions and get bonuses for that. I think I started out getting like 8 or 10 energy a turn? And now, after nearly 15 or 20 turns of consecutive play, I'm only getting 17 per turn. No chance for nice bonuses or rewarding good strategy. And rather than having small school "catch up" rules, I'd change it to have a cap on the number of players per game. If you're another school up against the NCSU juggernaut, are you really going to go way out of your way to try and catch up with the numbers to be able to match that?
