the campaign is interesting so far. it is difficult to keep up with the story sometime b/c of the weird interrogation stuff going on...

i played zombie today for the first time and didn't really know what I was doing, but I guess it is more fun with someone else. I was playing by myself.

I am using the FAMAS right now as well. I unlocked the AK74U in the submachine gun class. It looked to have better stats than the famas, but I didn't like it as well and switched back.

I think all the guns are pretty even for the most part, some just are better for long range, or mobility, or firing rate, etc....

This is one of the best things Treyarch did with this game. They finally seem to have made each gun category useful (except for sniper rifles, which they majorly fucked up) without having one class dominate the game, like assault rifles did in MW2 and SMGs in WaW.

I don't understand why people think sniping has been ruined in Black Ops. If anything I think it is easier since they took out jugg and have so much more aim assist. The maps aren't really designed with sniping in mind for most of them but on Array and Jungle, it works fine.

i'm for some reason on some sharp decline of performance at this game... this sucks. the last few days i shot like an eight year old on mt dew.

i hope they patch the party system soon... i think it would make the rest of the game more fun overall... i find i get so annoyed getting into a game it is harder to enjoy it the few times i do play well... was the waw party system this busted?

I'm right there with you. I was doing pretty damn good until we started spamming Nuketown. Don't get me wrong I love Nuketown but it has caused my overall performance on the rest of the maps to decline. Not to mention the rest of my weapons classes.

CoD:W@W was my first console shooter after only ever played FPS on the comp. I got used to it in about 2-3 weeks, and prefer console over PC now.

this. My style of play in Halo (just started playing Black ops) is to go the opposite direction of my team and flank the other team, trying to surprise them. Everytime I try in BO my teammates spawn on me and start firing right away

anyone noticing the framerate is kinda crap? it seems like chop city.

i don't really know how the voting works for the maps but it seems like i am playing nuketown and firing range every other game. i have played villa, array, and wmd each TWICE total. this needs to be fixed.

Telling someone not to bunny-hop or dolphin dive or whatever you want to call it is like asking them to hold still so you can shoot them better. It's just silly. Why the fuck should they just sit there and wait for you to put some bullets in them?

Believe it or not, if you jump around while you fire your gun, you will not be as accurate with your shots

while sprinting, keep the sprint button held down and also press and hold down the crouch button...you will basically dive to the ground...sometimes you'll dive farther than you intended to
