dammit! I did some research and apparently AT&T is the largest of only a dozen or so cable providers that refused to pay the surcharge from FSN to broadcast the 45 additional games from PTV. It looks like I'm not the only one outraged via the u-verse message boards but I don't see AT&T caving in at this point.

I don't. While you technically "batted the run in", your at bat resulted in one of the worst possible outcomes for your team. With no outs and the bases loaded, striking out is preferable to even a run scoring GIDP.

^ A fielder's choice in which a run scores is still a productive play. Similar to a sac fly. A double play that allows a run to score destroys a potentially huge inning as Slave mentions above. It is a good rule and there should be no RBI if a run scores on a double play.
