You don't get it do you? Our fans come no matter what. Do you think that everyone that comes to the games approves of Lowe? Much like when C-F was full, people booed Chuck Amato off the screen. My opinion on this is supported by the WPC people at the games....there are plenty that still come that want him gone if things don't improve. I mean they're giving him a fair chance by still coming but come March/April it's judgment time.

Look if Sidney doesn't get the ball rolling this year and we don't make the NCAAs, attendace/support/whatever the fuck you want to call it is going to drop like a nuclear bomb.

^PP is relatively calm right now. Seems even a lot of the least rational posters aren't freaking out about barely losing to Cuse on the road without Tracy.

Not that I really care who wins this argument, but you can't begin your argument by using evidence of low attendance at games as support for your argument, then say this and expect to be taken seriously. You're contradicting yourself.

I know I don't. I get that you don't like Sid, that much is clear. But beyond that, I really can't follow your "arguments".

That is because his arguments have gone from "you can tell everyone hates Lowe because no one buys tickets anymore"
to "no one comes to games anymore even though they buy tickets"
to "people are buying more tickets and are probably coming to games but boy do they hate Lowel"
This discussion is pretty tired. It is not appropriate in this thread and I am pretty sure I have exposed the fundamental logical flaws in your argument. If you would like to continue feel free to continue in the "credibility watch" thread where it is more appropriate. I am always happy to expose idiocy.
Sorry for hijacking the thread everyone

Just forget it, adder wants factual support that people don't like Lowe and there is no way to prove that unless I go around taking a poll or something. That's kinda the point, people like me want State to win no matter what. Agree to disagree but a lot of the base isn't happy.

Damn you got me, we sold 200 more season tickets in Lowe's breakout year.

Did anyone else notice Harrow's dunk. That was awesome! It was pretty incredible to see him do it in a college game.

I saw him dunk in the first half when we made that run to get back in the game....but didn't catch him dunking any in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half though. Maybe he went into the locker room and dunked on one of those trash can basketball goals.

Honestly I think Harrow was put in towards the end of the second half to push the break. He did a great job of that but Syracuse responded. Once the fast break wasn't producing anymore he looked more tentative. I simply don't think he was any better at breaking the set zone defense and he hasn't shown a very consistent jump shot yet (which is absolutely vital when dealing with a 2-3 zone). He tended to cut under screens on defense and was a liability in man defense because other guards could post him up easily.
He was a good change of pace but once Syracuse recognized this he was very limited.

actually Javi played really well in the 2nd half which is why i don' think we saw a lot of Harrow, also he didn't look tentative, he was just executing the half-court set like we had been all game. What is an absolute liability 4 on 5 situation is when we're on offense and Vandy is on the floor. We simply do not throw him a pass unless all the other defenders fall down. Harrow threw him a beauty of a pass that he tried to dunk but got it cleanly blocked.

The guy that blocked Vandy was just as tall as he is, so it's not like you can really hold it against him.

Syracuse currently PWNing Michigan State.

FYI, I am 100% sure I could score against vandy in the post. And beat him in a game in 1 on 1, for that matter.

Not really... wouldn't be that difficult to beat him in 1 on 1 if you're small and quick. Not sure what the point of it would be...

I don't think anyone would feel bad about our nonconference performance if we didn't lay an egg against Wisconsin. Without Tracy Smith, we beat the teams we should have beaten and loss the games we should have lost with him. The Georgetown game was close, at least for awhile, and we played Syracuse @ the Carrier Dome to the wire and tougher than Michigan State did at MSG. That was a pretty miserable egg to lay though.

Arizona is our last opportunity for a meaningful nonconference win and and one that could potentially define shape our NCAA resume.

I dunno another interesting stat is they outrebounded Mich. St. who is traditionally one of the best rebounding teams in the nation. Damn I hope tracy comes back ready!

So if Syracuse is 5 points better than the Pack, and Syracuse is 14 points better than Michigan State, then I guess the Pack is 9pts better than Michigan State.
Further if Duke is only 5 points better than Michigan State, then the Pack is 4 pts better than Duke.
Conclusion the Pack is the #1 team in the country.
