So the hackers/moders seem to have reproduced over night. I have not gotten into a lobby yet today that didn't contain at least one. Some had 3-4, I really hope they do something about this soon.

Sometime early this morning there was an explosion of people with the Xbox button clan tags.

I'm sure someone saw it, googled how to do it, and soon enough via exponential growth it's everywhere.

Doesn't really bother me as long as that's all there is to it - aesthetics of username.

i'm done for now. i've been defending this game. whatever happened over the weekend that let all the modding douchebags run around, and whatever they changed in the patches, ruined the entire game for me. multiple times tonight i'd be 12-4, whatever, and then find myself magically on a death streak within 10 seconds. both the ACR and MK were giving me tons of hit markers (or not counting at all) which is the exact opposite of friday.

you're seriously upset about nametag modding? Who gives a flying fuck, it's not like it means anything, and if it does maybe you should give video games a rest for a while.

And getting killed happens, latency plays a huge role in games like these. If I quit because I died too much I'd never have made it past the first round, just have fun with it.

My only real complaint is the inconsiderate little 10 yr old pricks who shouldn't even be playing the game if they had responsible parents that like to have conversations with mommy constantly but that's neither here nor there and I just have to go to the trouble of muting them.

the clantag modding can get annoying during a game, if you see bigass buttons and can't focus on aiming at the person underneath them

it's a fast-paced process so any distraction gives them an advantage

Wasn't a problem in BLOPS, where gamertags and flags and icons disappeared. I know that the games were developed separately, but there were so many good things left out by Infinity Ward. Pretty frustrating, especially considering their shitty record of post-release support.

I really like the dynamic created by Kill Confirmed, pretty much negates camping and sniping and promotes moving in teams so you can deny kills and have someone cover you while you retrieve tags.

I only get lag on the lobby and at the end of matches as well. Haven't had any in-game problems as far as I can tell though.

My screen was freezing in the lobby as well. It wouldnt let me join a game because of it.

I restarted my xbox and everything was fine after that.

Still having connectivity issues...been doing a lot of researching online for the problems I'm having and I'm starting to think this is an actual MW3 issue.

I've port forwarded, switched routers, gotten TWC out here 3 times (computers run fine on the interwebs), and still get party disconnected followed by a server disconnect.

Seems like I'm not the only one out there with this issue. I'm going to clear my cache on the XBOX tonight and uninstall the game...after that I'm out of ideas

I'm having similar problems getting kicked out of servers as soon as a match is made when I'm in a party... It happens more with my out of state friends than tww peeps though so it's possible I haven't adjusted everything correctly on my side.

I had a problem with receiving/sending game invites.

Solved only by the host sending out invites, everyone else turning their xbox's off/on, and when they boot back up the invites are in their messages.

It's definitely an MW3 issue though.

anyone else noticing that the sniper rifles are super-accurate in this game? I've watched my killcam and saw several instances where the guy who killed me is running around with a sniper rifle (not camping out), and seems to hit the scope/aim button simultaneously with the trigger and gets the one shot kill.

i'm so inconsistent. Had a great match on Interchange. Actually called in all 3 of my assault perks for the first time (yes, i'm struggling to get my game back). then proceeded to absolutely shut the bed the next 3 matches.

i'm still getting shot from behind way too much, from areas that i know i cleared just seconds earlier.

also, any methods to improve using the ACOG when you actually get in close quarters situations? i don't normally use that attachment, but it's been helpful lately
