I've sat in section 13 for nearly 5 years now, and I can't say I've ever noticed anything at a game that was special or different about section 10 ever. They seem to be e-popular though. That move the chains shit is everywhere in that general area and not limited to whatever cool guys in Section 10 might have started it.

And yes, the chant is fucking stupid.

Yeah I sat in section 29 for years and they did that stupid chant up there. Same with all the student sections too. I have no idea what the significance/importance of section 10 is.

I was out near the stadium and decided to drive by there to see if there was anything new.

I noticed they were putting up a bunch of light poles all throughout the student lot, many of which had loudspeakers on them.

They were also installing what looked to be a cell phone tower in the middle of the press lot at the end of the student lot. The tower wasn't too much taller than the trees, but had these grey pannels on top of it, with a small building at the bottom of it. I'm no tech expert, but i'm assuming its cell phone tower, which will be nice if that's the case.

I rode through the faculty/staff lot yesterday, and there's a red tape around nearly every tree in there. No clue what that means, but it's there. Also, rain has washed out a lot of areas through there.

The "Our State" slogan obviously had run its course...after being swept by in state opponents in football and then losing to NCCU in bball. But, aside from that being a complete rip off from Mississippi State's slogan, I actually thought it was a solid idea that was poorly executed. Branding/marketing yourself as the university of the people of NC is a pretty neat idea, IMO, especially when there are several big universities in the state. Kind of a way of saying that NC State is a university that represents the citizens of NC. But that message got lost. And when you have a few shitty seasons, or a shitty showing against in state schools it becomes a pretty obvious target for mockery.

Just like this slogan, or any other slogan the marketing department would've come up with, will be a point of mockery if we suck. If we win, who gives a shit.
