Julius Hodge ROCKS!! I wont get my hopes up about CJ Leslie, however reading the last few posts def. made me smile!
Im glad some of possible recruits were there to see us get a 'win' at home, and maybe justtttttt maybe it could be a preview of things to come... 3/7/2010 9:53:07 PM |

that wouldn't be nc state shit. that would just be us not landing a recruit.
nc state shit would be if cj signs with us, and then tears his acl right before the season. then he misses the year and goes pro. 3/8/2010 8:51:09 AM |

who does WOG play against? jeez he plays against a bunch of short, unathletic kids in his high school games
AAU and holiday tournament games are obviously quite the opposite, where he still puts up great numbers against 5-star recruits. 3/8/2010 3:24:23 PM |

Would he sit behind Patterson?? I see Leslie as a SF in every sense of the word. Patterson is strictly a low post player.
CJ is a player...I don't think he has to worry about playing time anywhere he goes. 3/8/2010 3:28:09 PM |

He is truly an example of what one truly elite player can do for a program. We just haven't had a player that can take over a game or create his own shot like him since he left. I know Harrow and Brown aren't as highly touted as Hodge was, but if they can at least come close to having that kind of effect we may be back in the NCAA tournament within a year or two. 3/9/2010 9:38:16 PM |

pretty much a consensus top 3-5ish player, excluding those that declared for the draft out of high school
and here is a site that organizes the RSCI rankings for NCSU commits since 1998:

Hodge is the freakin' man! I loved his passion and it's great to see that love for State and the fans is reciprocated. I hold a tender spot for our alumni who openly and actively support our athletics (Corchiani, Burleson and DT also come to mind), and Hodge is by far my favorite player from the Herb era. 3/9/2010 10:32:18 PM |
