all of highschool. some at the beginning of college. hardcore for mostly the highschool part. i think i always ate seafood. but i went through a phase where i didn't even eat chicken. then i gradually started eating chicken again. i still don't eat very much red meat at all. like once every two weeks maybe if that.

well during my preteen days i am like i am now...rarely ate red meat. nothing really changed, i was just always picky about meat and finally stood up to my mom and said no i am not eating it. and then i guess i just eat it occasionally now because i got over my animal phase (that wasn't the whole reason i didn't eat it, it was mostly just me being picky). sometimes i still get grossed out though.

oh and i don't care about like not eating meat because it is an animal. i'm more of an i want animals to be treated nice BEFORE i eat them type of person. doesn't entirely make sense, i know. and i'm not big on hormones in food, etc. yet, i do enjoy a mcdonalds happy meal...but whatev, i'm only human. and its not like i eat fastfood everyday or even every week. i want to cut it out of my diet all together (fast food) but, that is hard.

i was just curious as to what turned you off/on to eating meat. i know a lot of girls that are really picky eaters. a lot of girls that i know, including the ex...were really funny about food textures. my ex was reallly bad about textures and she wouldnt try things if it fell into one of the textures she didnt like...hahah

good luck w/ cutting out the fast food. that is just so hard. but i think its easier to eat a different type of fast food...like, i consider jersey mike's fast food but i loooooove it

i asked a vegetarian if she could tell if someone tried to put a piece of meat in her food and she said its been so long her stomach would know

It depends on how sensitive you are. Sometimes if I go to a hibachi restaurant or something like that I get sick afterward.

I'm not that strict about it, but I'd like to keep my foods from coming in contact with meat if I can. I will get pissed (and I have) if I go to Crazy Fire and despite telling them I'm vegetarian they cook my food with the meat ... whatever the cooking things are called. And it annoys me immensely when people say things like, "Oh you can just pick the pepperoni off the pizza."

haha picking off pepperonis shouldnt be a prob but i can def. see the crazy fire being ok to nag about...when i worked there we were told that like half our oils were meat based but that most people didnt ask about it so it didnt matter

^^ Someone should start a restaurant called chick fil o. It'll be almost exactly the same as chick fil a, but it'll only be open on sunday. I think it's been statistically proven that most chick fil a cravings happen on sunday.
