that is why i wear really light stuff. if you just use a tinted moisturizer you'll probably notice a difference but it doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all

i just really do it to even out my skin tone. otherwise i just look fugly. i'm sure i look fugly with it on too but it makes me feel less fugly. and that is all that matters!

I wish I had that fresh face all the time. I have majorly long eyelashes but the tips are so light so I use a little mascara and then my eyes be poppin'! I do like the make-up I have.

Other people have put make-up on me [numerous times] and it just always felt so gross. I have sensitive skin too so that does not help my complexion always. I actually used to hang out with women that felt like you needed to wear make-up ALL THE DAMN TIME, even at the gym. I am no longer friends with them (for other reasons, of course).

I haven't really been on since my talk of makeup spawned the conversation...so here's my two cents (not that it matters)

The only makeup that I feel I absolutely have to wear is mascara. My reasoning is it makes me look more awake when I do.

I wear makeup a lot less now than I used to. The biggest one being at home...and I didn't always do that. I know I didn't in college--hell I hardly wore makeup to class in college. But for some reason when I started dating my husband, I felt like I had to wear makeup around the house (even though he didn't/doesn't care). Then I read "What Would Audrey Do?" and when I read she never wore makeup at home, even if she was hosting a dinner party in her home, I went back to my old ways. Now when I come home, the bra and makeup come off.

I like glamming it up for parties and going out, but for the most part I wear just a little or none at all (mascara not included in the "none" category unless I'm at home or the beach).

And that brings me to the one place I will NEVER understand people wearing makeup--the beach or outdoor activities. You're sweaty...what a waste!

hahahahaha agreed about the outdoor stuff (well i mean, beach and exercise and stuff - not like, going to a cookout or something, it is acceptable to wear it then i feel like if you want to)

sometimes i have makeup on at outdoor activities. well. specifically running. because usually i'm bad about washing my face (whoops) esp on the weekends (double whoops) so i wake up at 5:30 on saturdays to run and like 6 miles in old eye makeup starts dripping down my face

i'm so sexayyyy. lol.

yea "just a little" is me, too. i have this tinted moisturizer stuff that is good. moisture. spf. and it gets rid of small redness that i have.

but i also have a concealer stick that i break out if a nasty pimple pops up or my eye circles are extra dark, which luckily doesn't happen too often. though i do have one right now

but usually just moisturizer, mascara, and this blush stick. sometimes maybe eye shadow but usually only on the weekends haha.

i don't even know how to use most makeup stuff. like i look at it and have no idea what to do with it/how to wear it correctly.

A few weeks ago, I tried to make some homemade meatballs with some ground turkey I had to use up. It was such a complete and utter failure that they fell apart the second I put them in the sauce. I mean it make a fine meat sauce but I was really feeling the meatballs.

Stupid thing is I've made them like ten times the past year with nary a problem. I honestly don't know what happened this time.
