I k eep trying to tell myself I hate you, and I will admit this would be a lot easier if you'd done something, or had some personality trait, that would let me think of you as a villian of sorts.

But when I'm saying that to myself, I know I'm lying. I hate that this is over, and I hate that I can't control my emotions as well as I thought I cold. I couldn't hate you if I tried. I sure as hell don't love you (as far as I know. We both know I'm totally emotionally retarded, and I still don't know how to define if I love someone), which is why this is so damn confusing to me. It should be as easy as "goodbye, and thank you", and that's it.

I'm still going to go to Cheyenne lots. I love that city! And I will not allow its significance to be tied solely to you. Same for the airport. Even now, I think the primary association is the thunderbirds.

When I said it was fantastic to deal with someone so predictable and legible, I wasn't thinking of the fact that I could sneak into your garage if there were ever a winter night too cold to safely tolerate, but the way I can read you means that I know with 100% certainty that if I needed to do this, you'd approve - if you even knew. It also means that when I send you payment for my ride from the airport to Cheyenne, I know exactly what to write/not write. You were so damn easy in that respect, and I appreciate it. I liked being with someone who knew how to use words so well!

And I thank you so much for the things you taught me. You didn't mean to, and I certainly didn't mean to learn anything new (I just liked cuddling, and figuring out how to put it in your butt), but you did. They'll serve me well, and Matt, and probably my kids. Some day - mayve eeven in the next year - I will contact you solely to tell you of something you'll be pleased to hear. You'll be surprised as all ehll , but pleased.

In the meantime, EVERYTHING reminds me of you. And my overall game plan is to forget your ass, and make like I imagined this all. The ball is in your court, but I'll be surprised if it's ever served. Pleasantly surprised.
