ya they hold well. I think if they were $4 it would be worth it. $6 is a lil pricey. but i don't spend too much on my hair supplies.

i snagged mine for just over $1 with a coupon
i agree $6 is kind of high but the pins are metal and seem higher quality & better hold than if they were plastic
just dont lose them! haha 6/25/2010 1:37:18 PM |

i had a gift card at fab'rik that i got for christmas and i got this top last weekend. the back of it is like grey racerback jersey cotton:
i dunno if i'll put it with white jeans though. it looks really cute with my dark blue skinny jeans.
i MIGHT stop at the fab'rik in chapel hill tom cause my friend that manages that store said less people come in so they have lots more of everything. but both of the stores just had an 80% off sale so stuff was picked over size wise. what i want is this (or at least wanna try it on in my size - ruffles on the boobs are always tricky):

oh haha that isn't me in the pic i guess i shoulda said that but it DOES have the same effect on my boobs. which is another reason i love it. but i'm more of a dark jeans girl than a white jeans girl. i like white jeans but i think i would put a darker top with them. otherwise i feel too "in the club" lol.
and yea i feel you about the stuff on the breast. that is why i wanna try those dresses on in my actual size to see if its gonna be weird. i mean my boobs are borderline weird with stuff on them (and i'm only a B!) so i can't imagine having big boobies and trying to wear ruffles on them
BUT THEN its like whatever cause you have big pretty boobs 7/1/2010 12:27:29 PM |

i love the 2nd dress and love the top. I think you could pull it off with white but think the dark ones would be better 7/1/2010 12:31:32 PM |

I've only been able to find a top with ruffles on the boobs that looked good once, and it was from Express... the only picture I have of me in it doesn't show the whole thing, but my old roommate got the same shirt (coincidentally)... this is what it looked like:
And... this picture was taken a little over one year ago.. I have only worn the top maybe once since then - that same day this picture was taken, I wore a black and white dress. The dress was really snug (not like cutting off circulation but any pound more and it wouldn't have worked without me wearing a corset or something). That dress is now loose on me .. I'm excited to see how this top works out now.
geez my face was chubby 7/1/2010 1:24:03 PM |

that top is CUTE! i like it. the ruffles look good there. yea ruffles are so tricky. a) cause of boobs and b) cause i'm not really a ruffle person. but the top is totally cute. you should post new pics whenever you try it back on again 7/1/2010 1:30:02 PM |

have companies started vanity sizing for bras? i was at target today perusing and saw a really, really cute one. when i picked it up-it said 34 C (i am a full 34 C small D) and holy shit-it was tiny!!!
i'm fairly positive my boobs havent gotten any bigger
 maybe it was just the brand. 7/1/2010 4:22:16 PM |

That brings up an interesting question: How is the natural change of breast size due to weight loss or gain affected by breast implants? (I'm genuinely interested) 7/1/2010 4:27:44 PM |
khcadwal All American 35165 Posts user info edit post |
^^ i don't know but i've run into that same problem at target. i think cause some of their bras are for like juniors or something? which shouldn't matter obviously but maybe they are trying to market towards HS girls and make them feel better? lol.
ALSO with target some things get mislabeled. for example, my bathing suit. i have a S top and i purchased what i thought was a M bottom (based off the hanger and when i tried it on it fit so i didn't bother to look at the actual tag). then i went back and got a bottom in a different color to match the same top (again grabbed a M, didn't try on cause i figured...last one fit and was same style).
welllll at the beach this weekend i noticed the new bottoms were SUPER small. so i checked the size and they were labeled M. and i was like "wtf i must have gotten a L in the other pair" so i checked the label and it was a S. what. the crap. same company, same style, same bottom just different colors.
i've noticed sizing varying at other stores with "cheap" clothes, too. like old navy. which DEFINITELY vanity sizes but i can also buy a S in 2 of the same shirt and they will fit different. 7/1/2010 4:51:30 PM |

Sweet!
Get two pairs of flip flops from Payless for $2 each including shipping!
Payless is offering Buy One, Get One Free on all their flip flops. But, to make the deal really sweet, you can get $2 off PLUS FREE shipping!!
1. Go to Payless Shoesource. Then click on the Buy One, Get One Free Flip Flop button on the homepage. This will show you the different flip flops available. There are some really cute ones!
2. Add two pairs of flip flops to your cart. I just sorted by price from lowest to highest. There were several for only $5.99
3. Go to checkout. There you will coupon code 27662. This will give you an additional $2 off your order.
4. To get FREE shipping, just have your order delivered to your local store rather than to your house.
So, just find 2 pairs for $5.99, and your total should be around $2 each.
I ordered these two pairs:
But not in yellow - in blue
ALSO!
Old Navy will be having their $1 Flip Flop sale on July 3rd, 2010.
That is all. 7/2/2010 10:32:53 AM |

^^ are you going to the beach anytime soon (didn't know if you maybe had 4th plans) cause the ocean really helps dry out your skin which then helps it clear up!
before i went last week i had a bunch of under skin pimples then i just didn't wear makeup for the week and swam in the ocean and it cleared right up
if not i'm always a huge st. ives fan (that might be what you use already)
i also got that neutrogena on the spot acne treatment once that you put on zits to dry them up faster. i guess it kinda worked? i dunno. its so hard to tell if it is actually making it go away faster than it would otherwise haha.
i also really like the olay toner. i never really understood the point of toner but i think it is supposed to help cleanse deeply or something and remove oil deep in pores. so if you don't already use a toner maybe try that? i get olay or neutrogena cause i have sensitive skin and those seem to be the best for that.
oh stridex also makes alcohol free cleansing pads that work well too

Toner. I use target brand its all the same.
And I always clear up when I get a sunburn. I guess it dries my skin all out and it stops being oily.
But yea toner will help dry out the oil too 7/2/2010 12:32:48 PM |

an update on the spin pin....
these things are amazing! i can do intense workouts & even went surfing with my spin pins in & my hair does not budge. im totally in love. anyone considering them should definitely try it out, esp if you have a need for a tight hairdo that is not a ponytail (& also if you cant french braid your own hair) 7/6/2010 6:53:01 PM |

I want a spunky new hairstyle.
Maybe this? cept the back is kinda weird. :/
This is my current hairstyle
I used to me all "omg, no short hair" but now I don't really give a fuck. Short hair on me looks better because I'm lazy. I just fear that my face may or may not be pretty enough to pull it off.

yeah, when I was young I got my hair cut really short and everyone thought I was a boy So after that I vowed to never do it again, but finally I grew some balls and cut it pretty short and loved it.
However, I'm kinda worried if I do it too short people will think i'm lesbian or something. but maybe that would be a good thing so that guys won't hit on me and I can stop wearing the fake engagement ring.
I like this a lot but don't know if I have pretty enough face for it or if i'll look like a lesbo

^^^I had both of those haircuts (i.e. brought those exact pictures in with me). Liked the second better, just because it was easier maintenance. But loved the "flirty" appeal for the first. I have neither at the moment, because I'm growing it out for a wedding, but will go back to a modified version of the first (less distinct bangs).
Also tried this one for a while--really liked it: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_30PRmkOl4ro/SkTyNBLJ-LI/AAAAAAAAR3U/pWYK0lMC01c/s400/2010-hot-short-hairstyle-trends4.jpg
