The back of the face is actually an off-white.. the face is probably an inch in diameter, so I especially <3 it because I am blind like a bat and can see it easily

these things are amazing! i can do intense workouts & even went surfing with my spin pins in & my hair does not budge. im totally in love. anyone considering them should definitely try it out, esp if you have a need for a tight hairdo that is not a ponytail (& also if you cant french braid your own hair)"

i picked mine up on saturday at target in wilmington! they're awesome. i wore it all day yesterday and worked out twice and they didn't budge!

oh f it...

i ordered them all...

except the third one because it only comes in small...and that's NEVER happening...they also don't have any of them in my normal size so i'm going to size up to see if that works since is has seemed to with the others

my guess is they are all actually out of stock and i won't end up getting any of them...because target likes to fool you like that when they have something you've never seen before...

i can always return them back if they suck...

I tried one of those on at Target

it was pretty awful, my boobs are too big for that kind of V neck

aside from the fact that the elastic waist hit me at just the wrong place, so I looked preggers or something

the ladies in the "what are you thinking" thread got me thinking...about pedicures

i've never had one (gross/i'm a horrible female)

where are good places to get one? and what exactly do they entail? i mean i want MORE than just getting my toenails painted (i could care less about that part). my feet are like really gross from wearing sandals and running.

so where in Raleigh is a good place to get one done? and is that all it is - just a regular pedicure? or are there like levels/different types?

thanksssss

I go to The Nail Castle on Creedmoor. It's a reasonable price, they do a great job, and I love their chairs

but they soak your feet, scrub them w/ a pumice paddle, massage/scrub from your knee down w/ a salt scrub, file or cut your toenails, trim up the cuticles, then paint that's a basic pedi.

additional costs are for nicer scrubs, parrafin treatment, etc.

Basic pedicure entails cutting toenails, filing toenails, scrubbing feet w/ some sort of pumice stone to remove dead skin, cutting cuticles...and painting your toenails of course

Every nail salon is different on how they have their different levels of pedicures. The basic pedicure should run ~$25 at salons. I go to a place in Crabtree for a "parafin pedicure" where they wrap my feet in hot wax to remove dead skin. That is ~$35.

Oh yeah, they also massage your feet and give you a leg massage.

Well this is what I am getting ready to get

Quote :
"Jet-Spa foot soak, clipping, shaping, exfoliation, cuticle treatment, callus treatment, foot scrub, mask, paraffin dip, moisturizing treatment, massage & polish"

But it's at a place here in Morehead City. If you ever visit the area and want to get anything done make sure you go to Oasis Day Spa...it's pretty awesome.

just a heads up that you may notice all the dead skin/calluses/etc that are removed when you run -- not a reason to not get a pedicure, but i still cringe when they slough off all that stuff i built up as protection from running

i also don't get pedicures very often (and i live in flip-flops year round), so maybe your feet can manage without the calluses if you just keep up with it...

^^^ yea that is true. i've NEVER had one and last time i ran 10 miles i had this callous that turned into a blister because it was rubbing so bad. so i just kinda want that stuff gone for right now. then i guess i'll see what happens after that.

and my heels area all gross from sandals/walking barefoot. i never wear shoes. my feet are just gross.

this will be a post-bar exam treat!

and i kinda want orange toenails for some reason. not pumpkin orange but a pretty orange. hehe

^yeah...now it makes me think the people that said they looked really good were just being nice and that i've wasted money on something that i look like shit in...

i mean...i dress like a hobo a lot but when i dress up i like to think i look fairly nice, not "that doesn't look good on your at all and you shouldn't wear it anymore"

is that the same type of dress that you wore to the TWW thing at Bada? If it is, your mom had a moment of insanity because that thing look amazing on you. I told you that and I am not a good bull-shitter.

ok...those last ones I bought...the ones with the pattern really don't look good on me at all...

they are made out of a different type of material and sewn differently...so they hang differently...

at least I can get that money back

Today's Living Social deal: Three Sessions of Laser Hair Removal for Bikini Line ($199) or Three Sessions of Laser Hair Removal for Mid-Brow, Upper Lip, Chin, Ears, Sideburns, Underarms, Navel, Feet/Toes, Hands/Fingers, or Neck ($99)

I'm strongly considering getting the underarms. I would love to get my bikini line done, but not $200 love it.

I was about to say you look WAY better in the pattern one then the girl i saw (she had on the yellow/ purple one). Sorry your mom said something callous about the way you look in it because it's really flattering
