Yup. It's awful. It hasn't happened to me often, but my sister-in-law dated a guy who had sleep paralysis frequently.

I've had it, that I can remember, 3 times, and it was miserable and actually pretty scary



as for night terrors- I've had things where I wake up with an extreme jolt and feel like I'm about to jump out of bed or punch through the wall... not sure if it is the exact same, but i'm sure it's related

i once threw my roommate across the room when she jumped on me to wake me up in the morning....

i was having a strange dream...then something triggered the terror and in my mind i thought somebody was attacking me...when she jumped on me my head was sort of under the pillow so i thought i was being smothered as well...

the next thing i know i wake up screaming and she's laying on the floor across the room...

i had literally tossed her again my dresser without waking up

he was just trying to cuddle and i had a night terror and thought i was being held down and stabbed...


i was screaming and beating him for several minutes before he was able to wake me up

he was afraid his neighbors would call the police because i actually sounded like i was being attacked

So there's been a shooting at a high school nearby. What's way more fucked up is the person wielding the gun wasn't a student but a grown man.
