Sam - I love the clock idea. I think I'll do that and hang them up in the living room over my non-existant couch.

I'm not totally done with them, but here's the preview...

there's blank space on some of the frames because I'm going to add a symbol for each place... still deciding on what I want to do for each. I'm thinking an outline for NC, a harp for Ireland, and... I have no idea for Kiribati. Maybe a party hat because they're the first to see the new year

i am trying to figure out how i want to do this in my office. i kind of want to use big massive clocks but there isn't room for that

Oh I forgot to mention the Kiribati clock (first one) hadn't been set yet. The Raleigh and Dublin clocks had the same minutes..

Also, I haven't decorated my table yet, thus it looks super plain. I think I might put a small glass vase with some red flowers.

And thanks, I'm proud of myself for gettin them done haha

Finished (for the most part)... One day when I get bored I will be drawing the outline of Ireland and the Kiribati islands... Not really sure what to do for NC. Maybe the block S.

I don't know what to wear tomorrow someone help meeee

I have these cute dark grey/black flats that I want to wear. I would prefer to wear a skirt since we're having a meet and greet with professors after orientation... but most of mine aren't long enough. The cutest one I have that's long is a creamy color with pink polka dots. So the question is - if I wore this skirt with these flats and a simple black top, think it would look ok?

I am going to be in Asheville Friday-Sunday. But if you will still be here Tuesday at 6:30 we could def do that. http://bikramyogaraleigh.com/classes.html

And you could always buy the certificate and go a few more times. One class is $20 so you aren't losing anything if you only go to one.

Normally I don't shop at express, but I heard alot of good things about this dress and it looks super hot on just about everyone. I really want to wear it out for my birthday but I feel like its way too dressy for your average bar get together. Then again I might just screw it because it will be my birthday dammit

wearing a plain pair of flip flops goes a long way towards casualizing a dress

plus it's easier to walk in

everyone in here will hate these but whatevs. i want them. in either this color or black.

and/or these in this color or brown or black

i really want both, but that is a lot of fringe. i <3 minnetonnkas and really want some minnetonka boots. i don't know what my obsession with fringe is. GIVE ME FRINGE!

i mean the second i have an extra almost hundred dollars sitting around (aka never) i am totally buying one of these pairs. though they are wintry, i would totally rock them now. fringe boots. jorts. boyfriend tee. cute accessories. I NEED THESE BOOTS.

i need a job. lusting after clothes is not a fun hobby.

thegoodoctor, how long is that dress on you? It looks a bit short for my taste on the model, but those are always misleading since models are so tall.

Today's Groupon deal is $25 for $50 Worth of Apparel at Gap.

^ i saw that!! speaking of the Gap - if you frequent the Gap (Banana, Old Navy) and/or like good causes, during the 26th - 29th of August you can go here http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/all_page.adp?item_id=601661 and download a 30% off coupon!!

5% of the total amount YOU spend goes to the leukemia and lymphoma society.

so another gap coupon to keep in mind. i dunno if you'd be able to use them both together (groupon and this). i'm guessing not but it'd be kinda cool if you could haha - that would be super duper savings!

Nerdchick, I'm pretty short... about 5'1" and the dress just covers my knees. Even when I wear sky high heels it looks classy, but pretty sexy at the same time.

I went to the express website, and looked at the reviews about the dress before I bought it. The reviews which show the people wearing the dress were really useful when it came down to decision time. The dress looked good on everyone - so I figured I would give it a try.

LOL omg. I just checked the website and I realized ... I have that dress!!

ha ha I didn't recognize it in black, you can't see the construction as well. it does in fact look awesome!!!

PS ... do I have a shoe tan??

I think I like the blue better than the black, but they don't sell the other colors anymore. Maybe I'll post a picture of me wearing mine since you were brave enough to do it.

And you do have a slight shoe tan

Thansk! LOL ... luckily the dress is long enough to cover up my very sharp shorts tan

I've been riding my bike to work and it sure does give you a silly looking tan.

I, too, have embarrassing tan lines. My bathing suite that I bought earlier this year gave me a distinct stripe down the front of my body haha.

Fortunately the dress is shaped around it. I think it must be magic

alright ladies

as you know ive had my hair bleached multiple times recently and it has left it super duper dry.

the salon gave me shampoo to use that is working better than my normal shampoo ( a lot better), but i will admit, however, my hair is still in a state i do NOT like. (being bleached 4+ times does its toll)

i picked up some "ethnic" hair conditioning treatment today.
super duper conditioning.
im actually sitting here with it in my hair now and it already feels heavier and healthier

ill let you know my full review later
